How the hell do I stop chad? Literally after day 3 the guy can make progress with heroines that can take me up to 3 days just to reach an event. I had to modify my game to be able to compete with him but I can't do much if he can fill the relationship bar with a heroine with his absurd 20 moves. I thought that if I improved my relationship with marida to the maximum thinking that I could use her ability to block chad always but it led me to a bad ending.
It looks like you have to restart. The cheat menu doesn't have any options to change flags like that. Or you could save edit I guess. Might have to do that anyway, some of the endings are still bugged for me.

thats a shame, im just gonna restart and cheat myself back to the point i am at, I hope Ranny is the only char with this exception cause if memories serves, the tutorial states that the point of no return is chad event 4, so to have 1 character spring this on you without a warning is kinda shitty.
Nah, every girl has a marriage ending that you get locked out of if they get even one chad level. It's very weird design, especially since chad's first event isn't at all romantic or anything.

Sound like you on hard difficulty? I know spamming gift during camp period does contribute to Chad total gift attempt. Aside from that, I think the number of heroine in Chad party also contribute to this. The only safe way to gift the girls are during the 2nd floor inn period. Just remember to use the cross if any girl reach 10 point with Chad.
Chad gifting depends on how many gifts and talks you do at the camp after the dungeon. Don't use the 5 energy talk option ever, it gives him way more favour than you can ever get from it. When your party is small don't give more than 3-4 gifts per camp, makes it less likely for chad to max someone out in one go. Also make sure you save before going upstairs in the inn, even if you play carefully he might randomly max someone out, so you might end up having to save scum. In my playthrough, I've gotten pretty much every girl to max rank without them getting a chad level, except one which was before I know about ending requirements and didn't save scum. The RNG is strong, but it can be defeated.
I think the optimal strategy in the beginning if you are looking to keep Chad away is getting characters like Bel and Vanessa's skills levelled quickly, since bandaged and heal lets you stay in the dungeon longer, letting you kill more bandits and get more treasure. More bandits mean more gold. More treasure means more rings which you turn in to rank up which also means more gold. More gold means more crosses to use on the girls. So Bel and Vanessa are imo top priority to level up their skills, then Mala to get more rings per dungeon run, then Alice for seals. Karen's more gold skill either doesn't work or doesn't increase enough for any noticeble difference, and you probably don't want to bother with things like Risa's skill for more energy in camp (I think) until you got the gold and crosses situation handled.
The sex stats for some of these endings won't track despite the heroines having sex with Chad multiple times. Is there any way to fix this or is it because I'm playing on custom?

what do you mean? purposely doing the chad events? i been treating her like the other characters, raise her to 20 while in the inn and then talking to her at camp
I have managed to max out the relationships with 4 heroines and have already made them my girlfriends and supposedly when you achieve this Chad's advances no longer take effect on them but in my case I can still continue getting events. Does it have to do with the fact that I played on custom difficulty?

you gotta lock them, which doesnt seem to work on custom difficulty, the lock shows up when u talk in the tavern in normal difficulty
