I supported Fen on Patreon for a couple of years, but I stopped when I realised how much of a massive drop off of information there's been. At one stage, you'd get a blog post every couple of days; a new patch or just an update. Then it dropped off, maybe a week or two between posts. Its picked up again, but its not at the pace it used to be. Its a decent game, but with 10 probe planets planned and we've only just gotten to the fifth planet, I can't see Fen and co sustaining the game for another 5 or 6 years.

As for why Fen keeps getting that level of support? Honestly, I think most people have forgotten they support him on Patreon.

Yeah....I mean Savin's a legend and his game his "high quality + abundance of content," while I feel that fenoxo and TITS is a fun game that maybe reaches 60% potential...

I mean, look at all the missed content:

•TITs gave up on Uveto's "store" an "rely tower," while I'm pretty sure there's one unfinished quest there as well.
•TITs also gave up on the whole idea of you getting a pornstar to contract with Steele Cooperation and all that fun stuff.
•The ship system and Hand So AI system is going no where.
•I think that Fenoxo mentioned Dhall's gonna be the last probe planet somewhere...what happened to the other 5?

Wow, that's a lot of unfinished content that could potentially be really interesting, guess Fen and his posse of subservient goons favorite thing to do is one finger solute to the idea of finishing something. On another note, when do you guys expect a passionate fan to basically finish the game in like a third of the time with much less financial support? Like the unofficial expansion in COC1 which is basically the base game at this point.

As Fen said in past blog posts its the writers not him. Wsan was writing for several characters like Amber and Lund but is now exclusive in writing for COC2. Several other writers are also contracted away for the Visual Novel they have in the works so they also stopped work on TITS. Almost all content added recently has been fan submissions, making the game wider without completion. Also as long as the money comes in he has no reason to change.

Yeah there was supposed to be a milodan quest withe priestesses involving the statue you stole.

Also add in psionic powers that was advertised in the beginning too.

Lets not forget all the TFs that you can use but the game does not support.

Before starting they should have placed the game under a normal copyright and the characters & scenes under a public domain copyright which would have allowed people to edit (and finish) the characters & scenes that the original writers have abandoned.

Fen was so active on 4chan that he used to have his tripcode in his contact information box on the old website.

That's just a lazy way for him to not take any blame for the way the game has been handled at this point by him entirely. He's the reason why fan submitted content has been on a years long backlog, he's the reason the game as gone on for 6+ years with no end in site, and he's the reason the game will probably never be finished by him or anyone outside of it since I'm sure anyone who had interest in it (modder or not) has gotten tired of it. TiTS more than likely will never get a COC1 like mod just because it's been around for so long that no one cares. This game has been around for so long and has had so much money and time sunk into it, that an indie dev company could've made 2 whole fucking games in the same timeframe. All of these things compiled into one are the reason why writers are jumping ship to CoC2 or making their own thing. They've basically written all they can for TiTS. You can only write an anal scene for another enemy type before they all start to run together, and that's why people are leaving from writing for the main game. If he would have managed his time wiser, stopped going to every single furry-con in the world and getting sick for weeks on end afterwards, finished the main storyline, and handle the game like a game or product that people pay him money for instead of dragging it out like a [insert 8chan Jewnoxo joke here] this wouldn't even be a thing. So what you're essentially going to be left with is Fen, by himself like he was with writing COC1, this supposed TiTS 2.0 that's no longer done in flash (Like it should have been done, like 3-4 years ago), and a game that'll never be finished, unless Fen ends TiTS as it is now, and makes a sequel designed like COC2, and finishes the shit that way.

To Fen's credit (and I hate the guy) I don't think those two are comparable, lol.

The idea isn't about comparable or not, but him conflating fantasy and reality.
I read and play enormous amount of mother incest, but seeing my mother IRL doesn't make my peewee hard, I just don't look at my family that way.
He doesn't need to have gross intention toward his flesh and blood to have incest in his game, just like how he doesn't need to want to fuck his pet to have people rubbing animal genitals in his game.

That is part of the problem, Fen and Savin as well as many of the games authors will not allow anybody that is not on the payroll to work on anything someone else wrote. Nobody can complete Amber or Lund except for Wsan even though he is contracted to work on COC II exclusively. Same applies to all other characters, it is either the original author or Fen Co employee that can finish them. And even if the original author writes it, it may take years to be implemented or Fen may reject it all together.

Could be that the writers behind some of the content (Reaper, WorldofDraken, Observer and Alexa) all bailed and never finished the content. Uveto was also in the making when Savin was preparing for CoC2. When you have that many planned content of creators that decided to ghost themselves at the time, it could explain why so many content for Uveto never got in the first place. It’s almost the situation that TiTs is now after Gardford and Wsan went to Savin for CoC2 and Nonesuch, SoandSo and supposedly Frogapus went to work for Cloud 10. Couch was also the main guy behind the Lessau quest and Frostwyrm transformative, but that got backlogged and just recently got added. I can’t tell you what happened to that guy, he ended up ghosting like the rest of them too.

That’s exactly the problem. William didn’t get on payroll till awhile ago and he made a lot of variables and content before that for free. The problem with the whole payroll is according to a forum member, Fen has trust issues and is stubborn about his content. His team is QuestyRobo, B, William, Savin, Adjatha, Gedan, Jacques00 and Shou. Pretty good size team, but I haven’t seen Gedan and Jacques00 write anything in awhile and shou’s art recently.

Well Artists are incuded. While the art is nice, having a graphics team does not make a text based RPG, look at all the HTML / RPGM games on the site with Gifs but no content or full of JRPG grinding asking for more patreon money.

But it boils down to the same issues with AAA Games and Mobile Games. You can prove beyond a doubt why systems of operation like micro transactions and early access and patreon promote bad business practices against the consumer. If they keep making the money, why change.

We used to buy games with 100% content on release, now buy it before reviews go out to have a chance at 100% and they might fix the bugs later but be sure to buy that day one DLC. Why buy a game once when you can subscribe to its development and pay ten times the price annually. Why work reliably when you can put it off and cash in another months subscription. Why have proper progression when you can sell Loot Boxes and Power Items to fix it for a short time.

To be fair, Savin and his COC2 game is all great - even though Savin probably allows only the game authors to complete the events. It just seems like TITs is lagging...
