Decided to make a Mercenary for funzies while waiting for the Tech Specialist' bugged ability to be fixed, wanted to ask what's the difference between the level 12 abilities "Specialized Combatant" and "Second Striker" exactly?

As far as I get it "Specialized Combatant" boosts the accuracy of your second strike/second shot to full accuracy (which is great) while "Second Striker" allows you to have BOTH second strike and second shot when beforehand you had to pick one and stick to either melee or ranged builds? (that sounds also great, just wanting to make sure I got it right.)

Yeah it's a choice of improving second strike/second shot or having both.

btw I'm still playing Tech Specialist and Overclock (the unbugged TS ability) is pretty great. For five turns you get increased evasion and an additional attack so you can fire off three shots in a single turn.

Yup, you've got it right. It's basically whether you want to keep prioritizing ranged or melee vs now doing both(but with the caveat of not being as good as you could be with either of them now)

Yeaaah I was thinking about that, and while having both double melee and double ranged attacks sounds great at first, there's a whole list of previous perks that already gave neat little bonuses to one or the other, so really Specialized Combatant sounds the best to double down on the build you've made.

Speaking of builds, are Melee Mercenaries still good? last time I played my strongest builds were Melee Merc & Ranged Tech

They're good. Not as good as ranged mercs, especially due to not being able to attack a good number flying enemies until a whopping lvl10 and the ranged perks just being better in general, but still good.

I'll admit my main drive for Melee isn't lvl10 (which honestly just buying dove-balm and growing wings fixes this as soon as level 1) but the "Cleave" at lv7 which lets you hit all enemies with your normal attacks lol.

To note, theirs currently a bug with innocent allure perk, lust attack.
The lust stagger it causes conflicts with combat stagger causing crash.

possible fix will be next version/ next release
confirmed by Jacques

Note - error still occurs on 0.9.048-PUBLIC#3209 and 0.9.048-BACKER-ELECTRON#3207

Still having the same problem as last time with it being stuck on determining imagepack. Anyone know of a way to fix this ?
You can try going to /appdata/roaming/tits and removing the imagepack folder, then try and redownload it.

Thank you very much. It the midst of looking for a fix my save data disappeared even though I never touched it and now it's back thank you once again. War Hammer- It's going to be so rad purging these heretics.jpg

Anyone have a Browser compatible version of the latest build? I have all but given up on trying to do remove electron myself.
Keep having the issue where the main.xxxxxxxx file in the browser fix is just different enough from the original (this case 9.042) that I can't tell what's the difference between what is supposed to be removed (outside of the obviously large deleted code blocks when compared in NP++), what is probably a compiler quirk with different names for the same variables/functions, and what is NP++ being weird about the compare plugin.
The vender file is fine though, barley any changes from version to version, and what's removed is obvious enough.

I had that bug. Closing the app and re-booting it fixed it, but you lose your save :(

Sadly, you cannot play this game in the browser anymore.

On windows, play the exe file (download the file marked "windows"). On mac, play the app file (download the file marked "mac"). I assume there's also android and linux versions as well?
