Where are those potential writers now? I see plenty of frustaration towards TITS and COCs for years, but not much of anything offering an alternative.
Some vanished without a trace, some decided to go their own way.
There is no clear list of whom gone where. Just a solid fact that a LOT (But not all, of course) of stuff in the game were written by the long goners.
And even with that - most of the characters with active and present authors are in a kind-of "suspended" state. Only a few could be deemed as technically "completed".

Speaking about alternative - There is no such demand for text-based porn games, as you could imagine, to make someone invest a shit ton of money and time to make something which might be highly likely compared with those two, and usually with a negative prejudice.

i just wish that they wouldnt make you character so aggressively effeminate at times, like it can get to the point that you question if you have the bimbo perk or if their sub-bimbo modifier.

someone you're trying to bed grabs your ass? sure, fine, we're all horny here

blushing red in the face, turning away and swinging your ass towards them so they can get a better honk? that just sounds like it was written for an entirely different character than an 8-9 foot tall insectoid hulk reminiscent of a Golisopod built wider then a semi.

the BEST thing they ever did was the one hate-fuck in the entire game so far. it was feral, it was basically combat, i would be fine if your character fuckin died if you had low enough hp, and it was so worth it id risk permanent damage to my character and throwing Mitzi off my ship to have access to that on demand. where did that level of engagement go?

OOOOOOHHhhnononononono. Nop. No. Nein.

What's the main features about writing for tits:

1. There are no list of solid Guidelines of what you can write and what you can't, just a few Notes about No-Scat - stuff which I suppose everyone dislikes as well as No-Gore/Brutality, however - with that the situation is way more questionable because sometimes those limitations are purely individual.

And for the rest - Individual rules again. At All - most of the stuff you screwed up are usually told to you post-factum. If you PASS. If you didn't... well, I suppose you guess what you can say to yourself.

2. There are no reliable information about how technologically rubber-banded to the TiTs general technology level your stuff could be. Again - For them, it's better that you have a bunch of savages without almost any technological progress of their own. And preferably discovered just around the rock's corner if not on the Previous Rush-planet, being actively exploited atm.
For you... well you play you, but again - if you're writing some Techie stuff that might pose some envy potential for FenCo - then you better think twice, take a break, and rethink it one final time. With 99% chance you will be either rejected on spot or meet Extreme resistance.

3. You may think that Savin is currently Rules the Game process but, rn he's actually in a kind of "cutting" mode, slicing incoming submissioners traffic by 95% and keeping only those 5% who writes stuff for something that is already in game
OR...
Backed by Adjatha. And yes - rn the game is kind of in the "Adjatha's Era" - Everything is sexualized AF, All rough outcomes, besides a few places, is almost softened/negated, most of the Logic lines is based around "Fuck and Fight, Just Fuck, Fight for Fuck. No Fuck is for losers." and "If you can't fuck it - you're not trying hard enough."

To be Fair, in her text description Eloise looke sounded quite more attractive than she came from under Adjatha's hand.

Hey there !
I have a little problem : it won't let me save the game. The message is always the same : "You cannot save the game whilst you're in the middle of an interaction, have the codex open or are otherwise in a scene".
I've tried to leave the place, go back to ship, tried in different rooms, but I simply can't save...

Any ideas ?

Probably a bug, sadly. If you get the exact same message everytime, then probably you just encountered a bug doing something (and when I say something it could be an interaction, an encounter, whatever). At this point you can only try 1 of 2 things:
1) Go to your ship's bedroom and make sure to sleep, then try and save again.
2) Reload from your previous save and make sure you go through the very same steps so you can be sure what is it that's fucking up your game file.

There's not much you can do because these latest releases are just minefields riddled with bugs. One wrong step and your game crashes (kinda reminds me of those leaked PSX prototypes where you are constantly walking on eggshells since the game might crash at any given point).

You don't open it in a browser, you open it with electron. On windows this just means launching the .exe, on Linux I dunno how it works but you definitely can't just open it in a browser.

What is electron ? A program, a web navigator, a file ?

Unless they release a non-windows build you're probably not going to be able to just open the html. Try using proton or WINE to run it on linux.
There is a native linux build of the game, I just don't know enough about linux to know how it opens, exactly. Since afaik it doesn't open like an .exe does in windows.

just took a peek: open terminal, navigate to the folder with the .tar.gz archive (you'll probably want to have the archive inside another folder since everything extracts in whatever directory the archive is in), untar, i.e.`tar -xf tits.tar.gz `
then just launch the `tits` program, i.e. `./tits`

im gonna be honest im not familiar at all with the "politics" behind the devs.

all i said was that i wasnt a fan of how your character can just turn into a catholic school girl (THAT kind) that's been made aware of the concept of a phallis for the first time and now has to charlston across the room any time even her father adjusts his pants. like it's such a departure from the normal goings on that it feels like there should've been a [school girl] perk or [naive] perk

AND that the goblin secretary on Tarkus has probably the hottest sex scene in the game that is worth going to the hospital for if needed

Makes sense. They do love punishing the player by making them a submissive slut or sissy and railed by nearly every cock they come across. This game originally caught my attention and the first like few areas are interesting up until the bug planet. But even then it really is a go around and see who can fuck you or see how long you can make it without being fucked. So much potential. Just hope good games come from this I guess.
'new' planet have potential since it have actual aliens (read 'irradiated genetic mutants'), which is what game in space setting should have by default, not 'furry in space'. But 'have potential' doesnt mean 'will be great'.
