True. While using version 0.7.255 and making savegames - they can't be opened so they are broken. Can't open them with 0.7.255 or previous versions either...

There is a lot of new content. Your best bet is to go to the website and scroll back. You could check the changelog in OP and then work forward on the blog from whenever the gdoc was last updated.
It's all 'scene added' here and there, pretty much. Couple big-ish planet updates as well.

Technically the cryptid *is* correct; the link on Fen's site is for the public build, the backer version is on Patreon or something.
He's correct in saying that the latest public build is 0.7.251 but I was talking about the latest backer build.
