I forget that this game has story since it's so non existent compared to all the side stories with other characters. Looking at Bess, Paige or Syri quest lines it just dwarves it in comparison. Nonetheless the main story was never the main interest in this game anyway because of all the greatly designed "side" characters.

If you're asking how to increase/decrease your characters' body fat just eat at the BBQ Stand in New Texas or at Ilaria's Confectionary in the Tavros Residential Deck. If you want to increase your body tone and lose fat instead go to the Ten Ton Gym in New Texas and run the treadmill/lift weights.
I think it's the thickness stat in the codex. Just keep going to the gym until it's where you want.

I encounter them mostly in 'deep' jungles, one with vanaes. Should probably finish main quest before they start appearing.
