CoC 1 was like lightning in a bottle. It's amazing what people can create, when they actually want to create something that's just fun.
Feel like they lost that somewhere along the way. Now, it feels like I'm reading lore dumps that have nothing of substance in the overall plot. They need new blood writers, where they don't try to hound them to fit within in the stories setting.
They need to have fun with it again. Let other writers treat the game like a playground, the same way TOBS did with those stupid kitsune.
Well, with William now gone I guess it's time to wave this game goodbye for good. There hasn't been any worthwhile addition to the content for years anyway & now there is nothing to look forward to anymore as well. Save to say I'm gonna avoid anything coming from Fenoxo Games in the future.
The last few planets has gone SO LONG (pretty sure Dhaal took two years+ to finish before we got Phaedra) that the reason I found this website was so that I could goon on other games. They pretty much can't release anything when they churn people out faster than Amazon.
