Character customization, variety of NPCs, and freedom, for me. I can play a slutty, dog eared, half human twink who runs around helping all sorts of cute aliens. (I have a soft spot for kemonomimi characters. Especially male kemonomimi.)

There's no proper character viewer for Captain Steele, but now players can import a custom image. (I like drawing and 3D modeling, so I can just use one of my own drawings or renders.)

On a serious answer, quite a few things.

1) Combat is quite easy and kinda funny, it's practically impossible to not curbstomp unless you want it to be that way.

2)TFs are pretty cool! And there is a larger variety of what you can do and can't be, I think most characters can be dicked down more or less, it generally feels there is more freedom on what you can do like the other commenter stated.

3)A lot of the NPCS and Species are actually pretty fun.

I'm pretty sure the only update I cared about for the last year was the crew toy stuff and that's just because it's mostly existing characters with normal proportions.

I can't disagree more. Shou was simple but atleast their stuff wasn't grotesque.

Chesire Cat. Still use her version of Anno as my desktop. Adjatha's art is always the same and always ridiculous, it being the default in my face all the time is why I dropped.

Was character creation changed at some point? I remember starting off with +5 aim and +5 aim cap at some point, and now it seems to be just +1 aim and no aim cap increase. Is that how its meant to be?

that's the problem, it's a porn game. none of those characters have been drawn sexy, just "cool". they're good drawings but they don't fit the game
and gats' "charm" resulted in characters looking so goofy it made everything feel like it was a comedy rather than something you were supposed to jackoff to.
I don't think adjatha's are too hyper but I likely just have a different tolerance level of what classifies as "too hyper" so fair enough agree to disagree, it's all just discussing personal taste and preferences.

Original gats art was good. When gats changed it went from stylized decent to basically shitty stick figures out of adventure time. Much like how early adjatha was decent, and has gotten worse instead of better, basically crappy parodies of their own styles.
