yeah i never bothered checking why the size was so small, turns out they just fucked up uploading the images, I'll just add em manually, whatever
I'm wondering if this is their attempt at some sort of DRM. I checked their forums and the comments on the update post itself, and there hasn't been a word about the busts not showing up. I also tried copying the image file from the public download (which itself the busts ARE working for) over to this one, and it still isn't working.
Tried that as soon as I got the new version. I have been expecting them to put DRM on this for a while now. I guess either it got left out, or they decided to get around to it. Not sure yet. Also manually loading the images, Isn't there like 5 images per char or something ranging from tiny to large? That is a lot.
instead of just uploading i actually played the game and its in working order. if there is an image missing somewhere that sucks man

I've never seen this mentioned, so it's a long shot, but worth asking: is there any way to rebind hotkeys in the JS version? The map/stats division in the new UI seems like it would be more tolerable if I could at least switch it with a key I have my finger almost constantly, like "shift".

It doesn't appear so. I can't find anything in the options, and a cursory search through the forums doesn't reveal anything. The options are probably buried in the code somewhere but I'm not familiar enough to sort through it and find if the keybinds are defined anywhere.

The game is not packaged in an .exe. You should delete that file immediately and run a virus scan. The game is packaged as a .html file alongside a bunch of .js files and a resources folder zipped up in a .7z archive.
