I see, I can completely understand why that would be annoying. Would you ever consider developing in HTML for your future projects?
It's been suggested a few times but honestly, I like the HTML interface even less than Milovana EOS. (I guess because I have no nostalgia for it) I did honestly consider porting to Renpy for a few months and tried to learn the engine a little bit.
However, I decided the amount of work it would require made it not worth it at all and that I would far prefer putting that effort into a new game. (The reason I am so hopeful for the other engine is because it would be made to port from EOS almost instantly)
I had a few concepts for making a new game in Renpy but quickly found out that honestly I don't have the desire to make another story driven choose your own adventure game at all. The only way I could make one unique was by offering an obscene number of choices and paths. However with tots it just takes years of my life for very little return. It also felt like I've been there and done that. While I could always improve the formula significantly it is mired by the feeling of "been there done that".
The engine I finally settled on for my third game is Construct 3 to make a full fledged video game that would be sold on Steam - Fall of Haven. I am a year and a half or so into it now and it's my big bet on myself if I am to have any future in this world. Wish me luck because the release would be somewhat miraculous for a one person team who doesn't know how to code and bit off a TON of scope!
