Hello all!
Rendering is going well, I have one scene (and a bit of other) to left to render, but it will take a few days due the amount of renders needed.
As for writing? It's in a good state. Weekends are always good time for writing so I'm now a bit ahead of where I should, so all is good in that front. Now just some "auxiliary" writing and things should be good for this update.

And then Riya and Aisha having a discussion. I was debating on showing this, but then I realised it doesn't matter much without the dialogue. The choices in here are, sort of important. I've talked about the multiple "story lines" that are woven together to some degree, there are choices that affects the personal lines, and then choices that affect the other lines. I call those "fates", there has been fates that have been "solved". Nelda, Mistress Lian, the first group of Gladelings you met, Gudbrand, the thieves in Qishu just to name a few. And those consequences are told in game. Some of those have ripple effects to later (for example the Banshee fight few updates ago, Yuu identifies one of the Banshees as Mistress Lian if she died), and it might not be so smooth in the dwarf city if the Qishu thieves aren't in good shape. And I kind of dread those words now. Anyway...

And then there is this. This was originally supposed to be one of the hidden renders, but it doesn't fit with the lore that is in place. Yes, I know, I can always alter it if I wish, but I don't want to. Despite what you could think, having rules are important when writing a setting. It keeps consistency. Anyway, it was titled "meeting the heralds" in concept stage. And thus it is time for my break and then back to rendering.

And which is why she is pushing it down with her foot and casting spell on it on a later meeting. That being said, noticed it "too late" and it proved to be more pain in the ass to fix than just making semi visual joke about it later on.
easier to clean under floating chest.

If there's going to be LI that's one of those frog people, then that would fall under monster girl. :D

Luckily that render was just a concept... that and the frogs are male and will stay male... in fact I'm going to invoke Warhammer lore here and they are all male, and "cloned" in spawning pools! >.>

Yes, I know people are joking. Just you know, need to say something cause reasons...

Not sure what your point is here. I was commenting about the pic (a stupid joke, to be fair), not acting as if I had something new. I only reposted the pic b/c quoted images never show what the image actually was.

Hello all!

Update 0.27.0 has been handed to proofreading and testing, so there is that. So as usual, writing the weekend and adding some cosmetic touches, a couple of people to the codex and so on. And that did give me an idea... irritatingly enough. That and I have another idea for a puzzle, which I might not use in ToaM but need to build graphics just in case. And since it is the last progress post regarding 0.27.0 there is no in game render. But the idea, portion of it that formed anyway...

So this came to my mind while I was writing that bit, kind of... a couple of things I would do differently but the parts needed weren't co-operating annoyingly, not an issue as is as I'm happy with this. IS aid it last time, the mind is working beyond the next part already, placing things and events, and then seeing what might be viable is satisfying. Of course not everything is something I'm looking forward to... since building them is going to be... difficult. But a hurdle I'll pass when I get there.
Ah well, things to try out, things to write and some bit coding. You all have a great weekend!

Talothral foremost, thanks for your games, and your dedication to follow through. Not only i just a few days back realized that you are not only the dev of this game but although of sorcerer and the two sentinel games. And the former i played before. And the latter I played now (just in over a week for both, too much spare time, I guess)

I want to say something I do not often say. Your games a great and if someone (like me) played all your games, there is a clear development shown from the first game to now. But some things never change, and it ties this game to you. Even so, with time, your renders developed quite a bit. You seem to stay true to yourself. If I make a movie comparison, you are not and never will be a Michael Bay-dev (all flashy and only action) but your games tell a story. And I like your approach. Ok, some things I wish for i probably only get when I start making my own game (lack the knowledge in that regard) but your games are entertaining, and even if there is quite a lot of sex in them, they do have a story and the stories you tell aren't mindless. OK, sometimes it feels like every being in your universe wants to mate the MC, and how knows why the "main women" will always support this, or get a kick out of it. But that makes your games your games! So please stay true to yourself and never start "fan services" like what should I do implement next. Maybe you have/will have votes on your supporter sites, but I hope if you do such polls they are only which girl you should focus on, or what kind of women to implement next, but never ever let them tell you which way your stores shall develop.

I only know a few dews in this regard that not only started multiple projects over the last couple of years, but also finished the games they have started. A lot of the games here or elsewhere will never be finished and so if I could afford to support someone, you are one of the top-three-list I made I will support if I have the means to do it.

does this mean we are jumping from 25 to 27 with a double release ?

since the last pic with the ifrit i have been spec. whether toam is in the past and sorcerer 1 - 2 is the present.
