Idk Patreon only drops some kind of paywalled teasers, real game updates only happen on Latest Updates page
They had the player name hardcoded in a lot of places, part of the 0.26 patch was replacing it with a variable in more places. There's still 36 more places where it's not. Even in update26 patch1. It ignores what you named the MC about ~15% of the time right now.
If someone is on their discord they could submit this list to make it easy to fix. I'm on enough discords already.
Also it's 'artifact', not artefact, but a simple search/replace over the code will find that everywhere.

The name shouldn't matter as long as the name replacement script is working (and it should work still as no one has mentioned anything) besides those are should be fixed anyway in 0.28.0

Doesn't really matter, the mod overrides the files anyway regardless of when it was installed. And there is no bugs to fix, at least that I recall, it's just mostly for some grammatical errors.

As a writer, you can not get everything into one chapter, or in your case, one update. But I see some MAJOR decisions being made soon. Some will like them and some will hate them.
There have been plenty of those already, just that the consequences of those choices are materialising soon™ I still build ways to prevent the biggest disaster during the event, but not free of all consequences, regardless.
Funny how little random things fall into people's hearts, so to speak. And the imp just wasn't supposed to be featured in any way outside of the first view of him, but then Maie happened and it made sense. Wife has to protect husband from spying imp after all...
I've tried to incorporate things into the background, but largely they've felt forced, and not that majority of the environments could have had something that would have felt natural. And outside of the random owl, there isn't anything that reoccurring or anything that would fit to do something in the background as is. Kind of sad and irritating for me. But the imp shall return soon™, relatively speaking.
And slight edit: Nope, not wrong, and you aren't the only one with that sentiment...
