I agree with your analysis, but two sentences--if fiction--probably doesn't even meet length to be a short story, let alone novella. I guess since the rise of the 'Twitterati' and cellphones, young people's estimate of what's 'long' got shorter even than the already-short in USA (where a run-on sentence is measured at half that as in UK).
We were talking about a certain elf that makes an appearance, you've seen her backside few times by now in the galleries and here... There is a soft cliffhangers in 0.18.0 and 0.19.0, nothing "nail biting" as it was in 0.17.0 so nothing to worry about.Damn seems like i have to wait for 0.20 then... i freaking HATE cliffhangers...

We need to ground the Over Powered MC with his stupid delegation of all his allies elsewhere- letting him alone and sunken into total darkness - maddening absolute power is the stuff Necromancer Overlords are shown to exhibit all throughout this game.
Good peers say something when MC is getting estranged and dumber than the rocks around him and literally pushing everybody away.
Guess there is little to no middle ground when MC is this much overpowered compared to anybody else.

Ok. Completely disagree with you but to each his/her own......
I think the update was fine as far as content and story went, but it seems like the updates are getting shorter? At least they are regular, but may need to start playing every other one or something.

Sometimes you have to set the backstory for everything to make sense. Sometimes the backstory might not be exciting, but it is needed.
Besides this update was great.
Length is the same text wise give or take, some choices made might lead to less reading, some might lead to more reading. On average each update is about 21 pages of dialogue, about. Some are longer page count wise (for example 0.18.0 was 21 pages, 0.19.0 is 21 pages, 0.20.0 is 23 pages. Shortest was 0.17.0 with 19 pages.)
Just started playing the game. It's pretty good, except for one glaring issue...
Honestly the worst thing about it is the sex scenes. The stilted animations are overly long. And with zero dialogue during the scene, it literally feels like being forced to watch a weird porn slideshow for nearly a minute of clicking before you can get back to actual story. They literally feel like extra frames added in after the fact, rather than a continuation of the story where they occur.
Maybe it gets better later in the game. I'll edit when I get to the end of the current update.

4th game from Tal and the sex scenes are still the same. They are not gonna change anytime soon.
