Though I'm using walkthrough modification, trying to view at least one codex character (Lady Izumu) crashes the game, and ignoring goes back to current scene while hiding all menus (unless done before continuing/starting, which in that case works).

1. attach traceback.txt into post not whole error.
2. codexes tend to bug.

I don't expect the other thing to happen until they're back in the tower.

there's been a few ren'py VNs on f95 that are rendered with koikatsu/HS1/HS2 that have orc girls that are literally just Japanese school girls with their skin slider on green and attached pointy ears and occasionally(rarely) actually have tusk on lower teeth

I'm not sure what you mean. You should be able to download v0.35 and play content from v0.33, v0.34, and v0.35 as well. Why do you need an older copy of the game? If it's a problem with your saves not loading, you should be able to try auto-saves (the A page on the left, if you're on the loading screen). While not always true, typically auto-save continue to work even if manual saves fail.

So just download the full copy of v0.35? You don't need v0.33 to get v0.35. There are update-only links, but there is also the full-download link (which is what I always use, actually):

like you said i dont need the whole game which is too big and will fail multiple times

thanks to your advice and the error from the game i found a way to get the file from pixeldrain
