Hello all!
Monday and a release day... yay.
So here comes the question, do I want to "merge" the Fiery Fangs and Gorgon lines in Sorcerer 2? Answer depends how I would do branching in Sorcerer 2. If I want to keep it simple I should merge the branches from Sorcerer, if I want to make things complicated I keep them separated. This could be easier the event that would allow merging them relatively easy, story wise.
Sorry when I read this I just hadda give my 2 coins worth based on story interest and development.
I've played all your released games. Sorcerer was excellent overall and had several 'paths' that changed the story dependent on one's choices...bravo. When I read through both Fiery Fangs and Gorgon paths it was 'no contest' as to interest and development of the plot. I felt the FF to be significantly 'light weight' in comparison to the Gorgons in both plot impact and character interest. As a plot element I felt they were not powerful enough...almost a side distraction...as the MC is going up against a Demi-God & fallen Angel and FF comes across as totally featherweight against a heavyweight. Also their story line wasn't --to me-- character or involvement well developed enough. you could have even left them out and I'd have not missed them one bit. The Gorgons OTOH, contributed to the story, held my interest and had more character development. The only 'overboard' part was the implication that the MC would have to mate with every gorgon in the nest, several dozens/hundreds however many? (the only man on the planet?!) but at least it was more involved. Far less with the FF.
So in planning your Sorcerer II, I'm hoping you think 'out of the box' and watch the balance of the characters you include....character development...and help with the main challenge. And if you're gonna include the FF, for peat's sake, give them some nuclear weapons or something....and maybe an internal struggle for leadership with it...make them more interesting. thanks for listening.
I know most of your customers are onlyi in it for the sex scenes...but I hope I speak for those who are not. I'm interested in the plot and story and characters.
Which, if I may say, you're doing great on. My thanks to you for your hard work.
