Perhaps it had been addressed previously, but my thread search skills are simply not that good.
A question to you, Talothral.
Is it intentional that the protagonist at times uses more of a modern language than perhaps appropriate for a man of his stature and culture?
An example of that would be replying "Fair enough" to the speaker of those deer-like satyrs at one scene, as opposed to, say, "Those terms are acceptable".

Depends a bit on the phone but generally it is (on android 14 that is): Settings => Apps => Tribulations of a Mage => Permissions.
It requires files access (Music and audio, files, photos and video according to my test phone)

Aye, it's intentional for most parts. Not entirely sure of the example at the moment since brain is bit overworked, but people do change their speaking patterns depending on the situation they are in. Being more casual in certain situations can be diffusing or seem more harmless then they are.

The patch should fix both of those, unless the sodding thing had older files. Which wouldn't be too surprising...

If you want to dive that deep, it's unlikely they'd be speaking English (or whatever modern language you're playing in) at all....

You need to remember that the MC is a common man. He was raised on a farm and not in royalty. So his manner of speech reflects that. Sometimes he uses what is common speech and other times what is royal speech. It boils down to what he feels comfortable doing at the time.

Also you need to remember that the MC goes out of his way at times to not act above his station so to speak. That being the Archmage is still new to him and a station he never thought he would hold.
