Both are custom characters, won't find them in the stores.

Generally speaking, none of the main characters can be found from the store as is (two exceptions to this, Sabrina and Li from sorcerer, but Sabrina has "custom" body). Most of the side characters are custom made as well. Some random soldier or bartender (or anyone filling the scene) is a pre-made character, usually.

That's too bad. I would love to see the models for Shani and Ciena used in another game, full size and minus the wings.

We are into the lore of the game and the remarcable story plot holes modern athletics teach us: you can never develop a trait, affinity or talent unless you keep poking it and rehearsing it and keeping up with your peers.
Plot hole of the day: being directly and totally locked in your magic ability, by a literal angel from above, delivering the word of creation and sealing everything otherworldly inside from a very young age - pretty sure conjuring circles or whatnot in a nun covenant where they also house literal angels and follow their lead - is utterly impossible.
” Teleportation practice. Alexander was gifted the knowledge how to teleport by Miyuki, but where comes the difference between Alexander and Sabrina is that while he didn't know it, he was already taught the tools he would need if he would awaken in the orphanage. The nuns knew he could awaken, they sensed the power in him, thus it was safer to teach what he needs to know how to manage his power. So he has all the knowledge without knowing, so his margin of error was practically zero. Sabrina other hand? She has the power, but she lacks the knowledge and discipline for it, for now”
The statement above is a big fat lie, or a major slip up, a direct contradiction to whaever is happening in the game:
MC never ever did spells, let alone conjuring, let alone hand or finger gestures, certainly no mind games or visualisations of travelling anywhere. Case in point, Mc is shown thorughout the game reading and practicing with the book of spells, getting training form someone who has it in her blood - direct gift from the entity - but MC got sealed off and cut out of any and all practices or rituals or anything to do with magic as a whole - Alexander is no Naruto, Sai, Kabuto or Uciha - MC has no buit in ritual eyes or blood or anything and we get nothing of the sort in the game - so Mc and Sabrina are on totally equal footing and she is shown to be rushing and overstepping and burning steps - case in point is the many times Laexander uses his bae for the teleporting most of the times.
Tomas is even more of a book nerd: has gone to university and got help from several otherworldy entities after finding out, like Stephen Strange, how useless are the books fed to him by the establishment - so Tomas got his own librarian sweetheart feeding him the utmost potent and effective stuff in that huge library.
Alexander is a very devoted student and a calculated practitioner with the practicality of things being his forte, he found out from his bae and the book about anything magical that he could do - angels, demons or the sisterhood did absolutely nothing to teach, train or instill any magical discipline into him until or after his awakening and throughout the whole game.

I just noticed we got a young mage named Brianna and she never shows up again.
did she die off screen ? cause she is not even mentioned in the codex lol

Hello all!

Friday. Yay... So what's up?

The usual, really. Renders are done, and the update was sent to testing. Should be able to do the builds tomorrow and uploading takes what it takes during summer. So yeah, I'll be writing the weekend as usual and start rendering 0.46.0 on Monday. And as I said, normal release cycle for this one once more. And thus, I won't spoil things so something else.

Been updating models again, I'll probably end up updating all the models I've used for Sorcerer at some point, and might end up remaking a few. I have the files, but... yeah some of them, like the rest of the Susan's squad, aren't exactly that well made since they only needed to appear in one image. Will I need the rest of them? Probably not, but if I do, they are there.

And then a bit more. I so need to find a new nightclub for the Gorgons. For some reason just can't get the lighting correct in this one, and it takes ages to start to render even though it isn't that heavy. There is actually a story behind this. Girl's night out. Sabrina isn't there. She had other stuff to do, to her annoyance. I know there are people who don't like Susan, partially because of her attitude and how she speaks. Those will never go away, well, except how she speaks. Some cussing is now toned down since she has had a kid (potentially) at least when he is around. She might be grass, but she is the first one to get up and defend those who she respects and cares. Even if she shows it poorly. I might actually show it in the game, though. Or I'll do the same thing as I did with ToaM, show a series of renders telling short stories... Something to consider about. But regardless of that. This was the event (or start of it) where Miyuki and Susan let's say befriended. Anyway, I'll do some stuff, take a break and write for a bit. You all have a great weekend!
