Fair enough, I'm so used to seeing colour/favour from other british english games that they didn't even register, artefact stood out because it's less commonly used.Yeh seems to be a common mistake is that... forgetting there is other English than American English.
Puzzling though how it's mainly Americans that make it..?
In that case "Artifact" is used back in update2: "Maybe the artifact vault below the library?"
missed that you had a renpy text filter going on to catch both ways it's used in the script.

I would not say that she was upset per se, more that there are things she can not mention that are working in the background. Either known or unknown things that are in the background.

Aye, I write using the characters names for most parts (except few one of random mentions such as the fish boy... who is a variable cause can't remember the name), and with short term memory issues I tend to forget to switch the Tomas in to [TOMAS] occasionally. And thus the filter script is there to ensure the name stays what the player has chosen, unless ren'py decides to reset it, which has happened.

To both. There is much more interesting scene there (maximum imperial points is 8 I believe if you get Lian killed, with Lian alive you should have 7 points max, and you only need 5 "good choices" to be on her good side.)

Tal said you only need 5 out of 8 possible points to get the good result. So I would say you messed up more than once.
Did you do things like tell Guthbrand, or whatever was the name of that cleric MC knew, about what is going on before protecting the village from undead attack? I don't use the mod myself, but i use the handy dandy feature of dialogue options showing their karma effects etc... that Tal put in the game. And if i'm not mistaken the ones where it shows fox mask influence the points you get with the court. White mask good and red bad is what i'm thinking.

the non-obvious one is you get imperial favor by *not* telling the guards about the thing you saw way back in... ch2? 3? and investigating it yourself. there might be other points that depend on that choice as well.
