Hello all
Release day, as expected really. So that will start soon.
Rendering of 0.42.0 started, not entirely happy at the moment, but that's due to me nit picky over certain things and trying to provide more "natural" light so render time is more than I anticipated. But nothing new there, I'll keep you all informed on how it goes as usual.
I'll start writing 0.46.0 either later today or tomorrow, so that's in good shape.
So, no preview. What I render for the next two or three days, depending does the render speed fall into something sensible... is let's say it's going to be interesting. Thus, let's call this one as a background render.
I put a lot of works into my characters. Even to the side characters. You are already familiar with the detectives Cross and Graves, the have a story or two written from the time when I wanted to write "procedural police drama." The third one, the one with the notepad and a pen is Shannon, you might have seen her from random renders on discord mostly. Might have had her in some of the renders in here as well. Well the dice made here a police, in this case a detective. So that is something I need to weave in. And she might have a short story written for my own background material. Yes, in case it wasn't apparent already, I like to write. A lot. And at times, especially now that I can, it is good to give visual on certain things. This is one of those moments. And it helps to fill out the times when I can't show a actual in game render. Usually when I'm starting to render a new update or on the last Friday before the next one, maybe. Also I hate the lighting in this one, it's accurate for the environment, but damn it does make the textures clear...
Anyway to the important stuff.

. Which is unfortunately rare in games on this site. Maybe people got bored with the supermodels on the site. But Terminus Reach: Sentine 1 had ugly characters, but nothing could be done about it, what a shame. I don't know how it is in the second part, because I haven't finished it yet.

First, ogres aren't animals. Female ogres are either classified under demihumans or monster girls, and neither category include animals. Second, you can skip any LI in the game, you don't have to pursue anyone you don't like. Third, dev is free to add any type of LI they want and see fitting in the story, and if i'm not mistaken many of the people who financially support these games request these kinds of LIs.
Bitching about LIs you don't like won't be helpful to anyone, if you have actual criticism then you should take your time and actually write it in constructive manner. It's especially pointless if you aren't paying supporter, though knowing Talothral i doubt he would really consider just bitching about LIs useful even from paying supporter.
