Hello all!

Friday, progress and all that.

Rendering, it's in an okay state. Render count wise, I should be at 150 renders, and I'm at 150 renders, about. Relation to the script? I'm where I wanted to be, granted I expected to be at this spot on Saturday, but things went better for the earlier parts so I'm a bit ahead, but not for long. So overall, I'm happy with it.

Writing... oh boy, it isn't in a bad state either, close to where I would want it to be. Just the current heat is sapping so much out of me that I'm not really in the mood for writing. But I'm still writing a bit each day, not as much I would want, but even little is always good. But as always, writing isn't something I am concerned with.



And then back at the tower. So, there was a certain goal for Great Desert, and it wasn't to solve the region's problems. They aren't something that could be solved just by getting rid of one or two people. The complexity of the situation is alluded in 0.45.0 when Aisha, Anor and Satya are talking. A hates B, C hates A, D hates everyone, and so on. You can influence how things go in the long run, but not solve them. It's one of the plot threads that are intentionally left open along with the alignment thread (that and it isn't time for it yet). I always do this, Terminus; there are several, the UEC "collapse", machines, and a couple others that are just there. Sorcerer? Someone was attacking the great and guardian houses, and probably something else that I forgot, been a while. All of these are hooks for the sequels (potentially). Now if a sequel happens, I can pick a "familiar" thread that ties to the previous thing. It might not be the main theme necessarily for the VN but a starting point. It's the same thing now. If there is a sequel to ToaM, be it Tomas or someone else, there are threads that I can use to tie things together. Start as a mage from the now "dead" Order of the Jade Serpent and get involved in the civil war? That is one plot point if I didn't continue as Tomas. But... that's for then. Anyway, I've rambled enough for today. I'll continue to ramble more on Monday. You all have a great weekend!

That would be a song I've used with Maevra before. Most of the "main cast" have their unique theme song, except for the Nagas; they share theirs.

Truthfully, I haven't added a song except during first few updates I think...

In case the dev comes around here:
I do request to not to assign keys around the wasd keys. I already assigned those, and I guess I'm not the only. Best solution is not to assign keys if not needed: make a toggle in preferences. 2nd best to assign a key via preferences. last suggestion is to assign one on the rightside of the keyboard, with an error catch if you please.

Why does turning off lesbian content make you miss out on group scenes? Most of them don’t even have much lesbian stuff anyway.
And even if there are a few renders like that, couldn’t these specific renders be skipped when lesbian content is disabled instead of just missing the entire scene?

Yeah, I get that the dev is busy, but wouldn’t it be relatively simple to just skip the few lesbian renders? I don't mean extra renders or anything.
I think quite a lot of people like group scenes in a harem game and just don't like the lesbian content.

Not a dev so can't say, but i figure it would require you to go through the renders and specify that the filter skips just those specific renders and no others, when it is just easier to skip the whole thing. Especially when there's situations during those group scenes where the girls playing with each other are happening in multiple parts of the scene.

Almost -- if not all -- the more-than-three-person scenes have girls in the background playing with each other at some point (I may be wrong, but I don't think so). So none of those scenes would be easy to cut up, since it's between 1/4 and 1/2 of the ongoing scene. I don't remember if all the threesomes are similar, but I think some of them are.

Yeah, youd need to sub in new renders with them playing blackjack or Settlers of Catan or something in the background instead or the scenes would be very short & weirdly disjointed. Which is a lot of extra work.

Damnit ... Now I'm picturing one of the orc mating scenes with the four warriors and Kasha playing Settlers while he finishes off with Lakha and Gweyr ...
