Monday! Hooray? Well, maybe. So what is going on?
Rendering is in a good state I have one scene left to render, but it is largeish. The update is a bit weird one, there aren't that many scenes, but the length is basically the same as any other update, so it will most likely will feel short. It will be around 300 renders though, not that it is much of an indication.
Writing? Writing is in a good spot all things considered, not too annoyed about it. I mostly got the parts that annoyed me written since it is content that can be missed with a singular choice ages ago... But consequences and all that. And since I ran out of non spoilery stuff to show... Well you know what it means right now. More rambling!

There has been, let's say suggestions of what I could explore more deeply in Sorcerer 2. Some are plausible, some not so much. A lot of it comes down where the story goes, and what I can make environment wise. Certain aspects leans more on the eastern mythologies and mysticism, some European, some African, some North and South American. Spirit of the Glade leans on Native American mythologies for example, with slight twist of things. I will consider some of it, but I wouldn't expect to see anything that might have been suggested since there are moments what you want to be visual, even if it would be a flashback or "vision" from the past. Something like... this environment is easy... although the fire in the braziers is bad. Need to fix that if I use this as an "production" environment. But for example, and it is just an example, if I would need a scene in a monastery I would have to evaluate how I would do the scene first. Do I have courtyard, do I have entrance, etc. If I have them in "European" style I would use them, if I don't? I need to find something else the examples case this would be used instead. Only thing it lacks is the interiors but those are relatively easy. So why this? I wanted to test the area, and glad I did, now I know about a few issues it has that I need to fix. Yay. Anyway, short break and back to rendering.
If we go by generic descriptions of Hell it is easy to create, it's fire and brimstone basically. Any "volcanic" environment would overall do the trick. Interiors? That's... slightly more questionable to a point. Demonic cultist environments? Those are prop wise easier, and completely unsurprisingly I have those. Both demonic and cthulhian style >.>It would also be cool to see more demon/devil environments

But that as mentioned, it depends on how the story would unfold. If there is a need for them, then they appear. If not? Well... that's that then.
Gothic style castle interiors are doable, making them look demonic? I do have some... let's say skeletal furniture, but that's more undead style. But I suppose that would depend on the demon in question what the interior would look like. It's always trying to find the more "exotic" props that causes problems. Most demonic things are focussed on the characters rather than environments and props. But time will tell what is seen...Yeah i was think more on the interiors/castles/palaces such as in the pic those may or may not ever appear. So far TOAM is my favorite game from you, but i really enjoyed all of them and i am looking foward to a Sorc2.

Happened again, and I did not delete (for any version n) /home/user/games/ToAM-n-pc/game/saves/persistent, only /home/user/.renpy . Is the file in there not firstly saved in the main game folder--duplicated--and is that an inadequacy/bug? I also lost all the new saved sex scenes, and looking at the code you wrote, maybe more persistent plotline settings. Are you or anyone keeping track of the rest of those, or would I perhaps use the universal renpy modifer to get the rest of those? I did 'grep _secret game/*.rpy' and got the rest of the secrets, but it'd take a long time to look at 'grep persistent. game/*.rpy'. I still don't want many dotfiles in /home/user : almost 30 years ago 'ls -ald .*' only showed a very few, but now it's three 4K screens because so much isn't in /home/user/.config & /home/user/.local .You can try to put this file in your game folder (where the file script.rpa is)
Launch the game once then close the game and delete the file. You need to run the code just once to unlock all the secrets
