Hello friends.
Sadly, I have been unable to finish Triple Ex v0.26 in time to release it before I travel to Norway. I need to be frank; over the last year, my life has changed a great deal, and not all for the best. My free time has been severely reduced, and barring something drastic occurring, I can't see anything changing in that regard.
I can honestly say, this has been the first update I have worked on that hasn't been as enjoyable as the rest. With my now limited time, I feel under more pressure to produce updates, and this is in part because of the generosity of my supporters. I created the Patreon page as it seemed to be a part of the process of creating a visual novel, and I never genuinely expected anyone to support me.
Going forward, all I can promise is that I will continue to work on Triple Ex until its completion. Creating each update has brought me great fun and enjoyment, and I believe it will continue to do so, but I need to remove the pressure of completing each update as quickly as possible. The only way I can do that is by being straightforward with you all. I will keep to the format of posting three batches of preview images per update, but I can't specify or guarantee a timeframe, which was once 10-12 weeks for each update. Rest assured, I understand if my supporters wish to end their financial support, but the monetary reward, though greatly appreciated, was never a goal for me. My aim was to produce something I personally enjoy, and the hope is that it brings some fun to people who happen to stumble across it, and this is still my aim.

I'm back from my trip to Norway, and also back to my daily routine, working on Triple Ex as much as time permits. It was nice to be able to get away for a while, without the pressures of work and life in general. If anyone ever has the opportunity to visit Norway, I would highly recommend it. I didn't see a great deal of it, but what I did see was absolutely beautiful. Stay safe and have fun!
