Pretty fun, but it would be nice to have more insight into the characters and the effects the control has on them, like more conversation options especially if they were somewhat interactive.
Yeah, interesting idea in theory, but I can see this getting stale pretty quickly if it's just "collect the units and keep marching forward". I'd focus on more "scenes" between the fights, and maybe a little more interactions between the enslaved. I'm also not totally sure how exactly the Edicts are working, as his seems to work whenever the MC wants it to activate, though the others all seem to be passive and constant?
I'm also not really getting a good picture of the geographic landscape. We have a lot of cutaways to people that don't seem to matter that I presume is setting up future content, except we're on an island that seems removed from everything? I think we don't actually get a map of the island until the content is over, and showing that earlier might help ground things a bit. I'm also not sure which Edicts are where or affecting this continent, or what their ranges are.
Weirdly enough the actual "game" part is decent. I'm not sure the combat triangle works as well as intended, or at the very least it's not really important to pay attention to right now. The AI also being very static is partly necessary for combat balance, but it does lead to pretty repetitious "Stand the tank in range of one enemy, attack the enemy that charges at them, repeat until the map is over." The last map having multiple factions helped a little bit though.
