the game itself is really but the game crashes often and thats annoying. mostly everytime when i want to detroy some parts of the house i want to build, the game crashes.
Sorry! I haven't heard of anyone else crashing while building, could you post your player.log in our discord server's forum for bug reports? I would like to get to the bottom of it!

We've also had a few users resolve odd issues by updating CPU and GPU drivers after playing the demo, I hope this helps!

Pretty cool so far, this definitely has potential. Good on the devs for aping Valheim instead of Ark like just about every survival crafting game tries to, much better game IMO.

Is there currently any way to build the things that require what I assume to be iron and gold ingots, such as the shower? I haven't found any deposits other than stone and coal, and the furnace has no recipes in it.

Also, it should be possible to turn your character during creation, so you can see what the different hairstyles look like.

Since the dev is an active member of the forums, I'll put some feedback here.

Please remove or change whatever mouse smoothing feature you have for camera control. The faster you move the mouse, the slower the camera moves. If you move the mouse a tiny bit, the camera spins like mad on the default sensitivity, and if you move real fast then the camera moves as if you barely moved it at all. Lowering the sensitivity sliders just makes it that much more noticeable, too.

The settings menu dropdowns get drawn in front of the cursor, so the cursor priority needs adjusted to always display in front of everything.

Other than those and the usual Unity issues (mostly with games in-dev, and always the exact same problems due to Unity defaults) and the suggestions already shared, that's it for the cons I have at the moment. The game looks pretty promising so far, and definitely has some great foundations to work on. I really like the animations of the characters; even the idle animations are very natural looking (despite some clipping of the models, like the fairy's hair clipping through her eyes). Also, since they've already proven themselves capable with previous titles, I imagine the polish will improve greatly, and the gameplay will be very solid and satisfying - even if mechanically it is vastly different than the games the dev has worked on in the past. Considering this is an initial tech demo very early on in development, it is normal to expect more issues than what I've seen so far, which is a good sign for things to come. :)

Happy to have a female protagonist game with monster girls, more female and futa protagonist games are welcome. I look forward to future updates.

Seems good so far, but I would suggest making the stamina more effective or removing it from running at least, since running to a tree, then spending 80+ to cut it down and then cut the logs, makes it feel tedious. Also, how much food does a farming plot produce, had the slimegirl start farming, and she only put 1 onion in the chest after 2 days, either I'm doing something wrong or it doesn't produce much.

the dream of a monster girl game set on an island is still alive! a female protag was a surprise, but I like yuri so i'm down for it

my biggest problem so far is the stamina, there's way too much waiting around because of it. the stamina should at the very least not drain by running

Stamina is an issue, yes. Also I feel like the enemies see you way too easily at night, and since to skip it you need a campfire that needs stones that I couldn't find AT ALL it didn't feel very nice, and i didn't just want to stay the night inside a house. Also raid parties spawning on the second day is pretty unfun. About that btw, I feel like we're not getting nearly enough wood when chopping down trees (although it's probably a wood axe issue)

That was one of the main points of feedback from people so I've changed the default movement from walking to a jog that doesn't drain stamina, other balancing changes as well to tool usage etc. We're planning a major demo update soon!

Absolutely loving this game so far, but I have a couple of questions about the companions.

I saw that you can increase their level by giving them the sort of ethereal spheres you can find across the map and you can also assign them to different roles. There is also the chests that they can use for those roles I just mentioned, but how do you actually get them to work?

I have two companions currently, and one of them has the farming profession while the other has the gatherer, but none of them are actually ever working? They seem to just hang around the isle doing pretty much nothing. Is it bugged at the moment, or is there something else you need to do for them to actually start doing the things you assing them to?
