Well not optimistic but at least the april fools joke indicates he read some of the discussion people have been having about the writing. Maybe with some luck he will have at least gleaned that he needs to work on his scene direction and tone management. Instead of just erroneously coming away with it as people not liking playing the villain.

If that's the case, there's also something to be said about how in many of the sex scenes the internal monologue seems so bored with the actual sex taking place that his thoughts starts wandering off-topic to stuff like philosophy or what will happen in the future. But that's really a whole other can of worms.

Most of the people complaining in this thread are complaining because they don't like playing the villain. They just didn't understand that owning slaves, creating a harem and impregnating women in secret and against their will (among other things) somehow is villainous...

Yes, that I agree with, that was kind of a fail. Not the revelation in of itself, it doesn't say for certain whether they are brother and sister or not, but the timing. It would have been much nicer if we would have gotten a scene were the MC corrupted his sister enough to have her agree to sex while still seeing herself as his sister.

Damn, I really thought Cthulhu was gonna rise up and swallow the island with all the talk of bad ending. Not that the MC is evil lmao.

But something like Cthulhu is canon, right? With Laoise as the avatar and Kaoru as the miko.

There is a "good" ending. It's just kind of lame. The author makes fun of you on purpose if you even try going that route. I'm not sure what the game's purpose is; it's trying to make fun of your choices and make them seem pointless (kinda like Bioshock). It is clear that the goal was for you to be the bad guy.

I feel like this was a game with a lot of wasted potential. Could have cut the choices out like in OoT, and the ending would still be the same.

Graphics are good, though, if you like the art style.

There's the long standing promise/joke of a Jamie femboy patch for OoT at 10k, and this patch would require less work.
So yeah I'd exepct he would actually do it if the patreon ever hit 10k.
Not that that's likely to ever happen.

Is it bad to hope he wont reach 10k until OoT is finished at least? I would really prefer him not having to waste time with this shit

There's only one "choice" in every event. Have sex with the girl or don't. If you choose yes, the game paints you as a manipulative bastard and gives you a bad ending. If you choose no, the game makes fun of you for playing a porn game the wrong way, so either way you suck. The sex scenes themselves lack emotion and that seems intentional. All in all, cool graphics accompanied by a detestable story and presentation.

If you want the most positive experience-
The maids are fair game, as is Mio and a girl named Juno, and MAYBE Laoise, but that one is unclear.

Generally, trying to bone your first three employees you recruit through the story results in bad outcomes for them/darker dialogue options, and also trying to fuck your sister will also lead to the worst bad end that almost everyone got on their first playthrough and is what divided the community in two.

Recommend dropping a save at the start of every scene so you can see every scene, while still getting the best endings. (Or you may be able to replay them in the gallery to see the sex version of the scenes without altering your playthrough, can't remember)

Also this is just part 1 of an already planned out trilogy so it's basically largely set up for what will likely be future games.
