personally I really respect the juni ending
she seemed determined enough that even if we did explain the cloning machine to her (which is a REALLY FUCKING BAD IDEA) I don't think she'd even agree to it, she's accepted her fate and she's going to LIVE until her number's up, and she's going out her own way.
god I saw everyone freaking the fuck out back when 1.0 first dropped, I'd like to apologize to the dev now that I got the balls to actually play the full game myself. that ending was a bit depressing, but man the hints and foreshadowing about "will you save them, or damn them?" was being laid on thicker than all the girls put together, of course we're not getting our golden ending.
that being said, the entire ending sequence did feel pretty contrived (I genuinely don't understand what broke the housewife at the end there)

Kaori reveals in her events that Tropicali is the island of the dead, and given that we know it's in the same setting as out of Touch, what happened is (likely) her dead husband's voice from beyond the grave speaking to her.

I say “fuck up.” Are the LIs unhappy because they stayed with the guy who gave them money and a new start in life? It's the Dev's fault, not mine. And don't make me feel guilty because at the last minute you wanted to create a crisis out of nothing.

Although Mia and the tsundere are more than enough for me, I reaffirm my authority as the majority owner of the island by remaining, this is a political message, even a religious one, that I want to send.

You get bittersweet melancholy at the best of times where your favorite character either fails in their goals, commits suicide, or goes insane and attacks you.

My main problem is the tonal problems and the player-protagonist disconnect. We are accused of taking advantage of women and manipulating them when I thought the tomboy would be fine with this since most Polynesians cultures are polygamous. Also if you want to have the main character be an asshole give him more opportunities to be an asshole. Sexually harass and bully the throw away employees. Molest that tank in the the employee showers. Fuck that Casting Couch against its will. Rape the Walrus. The tonal disconnect between hiring a chicken and the naive young woman not realizing I'm fucking the two maids I clearly am plowing and a woman being haunted by the ghost of her dead husband is just too large Also no pregnancy slides or any of the joke employees at the party. We should have had an ntr scene with the Casting Couch getting bukkaked.

As someone from Polynesia no it really is not. If you went back 200 years ago you'd only really find it practiced by some chiefs and even that wasn't a everbody does it thing. Tropicali's deliberatley vague on where it fits in the Pacific, but kaori does mention her family knowing te reo Māori.
Americas got a higher rate of polygamy these days thanks to the Mormons.

Please do yourself a favour, don't play both of this shit, Tropicali is better but I don't understand the point of them ruining the half of the game, I don't need to write a review anymore since most of the reviews explained better than me.

Edit: I just saw this "Announcing: The Tropicali Good End Patch Funding Goal!" In the Tropicali itch io page, basically it says "You heard that correctly! the sex scenes aren't that good either because of the constant camera movement, it's quite annoying as i don't have ADHD, reminds me of source porn movies
but yeah, what the others said, the game mocks you for not going the harem route and punishes you for it.
