Dunno if that's directed at me, but I'm not complaining, but if you can't see there's a lack of motivation to work on this game by the dev part then I can assure you, you're mistaken, the dev even admitted that before multiple times.
I don't think the paying members should complain either way, they pay because they want, if they aren't satisfied they should just stop paying it's very simple.

FWIW, I was a paying customer until endless months went by and nothing was even shown let alone delivered. This and Unravelling August were both really promising games that I no longer expect to get releases for despite their patreons still actively taking money.
