Some characters may have some dark histories like the one girl so far, but we may or may not be able to influence this in the future like what was made possible in 3.0. Some devs are worthy of trust. I have similar plans for these events, you won't be making any choices when playing as the other characters. You're just viewing things from their perspective. All choices are still in the hands of the MC.Sometimes, I can understand wanting to show some things from another character's perspective cause it gives the author much more freedom to tell his story. It hurts a little the immersion even if you don't give the player any option but that's the lesser evil for me (Now & Then does it well from time to time but it never gives you the opportunity to make choices for other characters) cause as soon as you make choice for another character, you jumped out completely of the MC's shoes and it's really hard to come back after that.

Such events are gonna happen once every in-game week. The one from before hasn't been made skippable yet, so I'd suggest waiting for the next update.
If you skip the scenes, you're gonna miss them.
You won't be missing out on any important stuff if you do though. No events relevant to the main plot will happen, and if they do, you will be able to view those events as the MC.

I still prefer when events happen from the MC's perspective but if the NPCs stay as NPCs, all is well (for a minute, I thought Christmas was ruined cause I really have high hopes for this game!

Nah. The tag is required if we incarnate multiple characters by making decisions for them. If you just change the POV for storytelling purposes without making any decision with another character, I think you're safe (and even then, if it doesn't occur on regular basis, it isn't necessarily tagged as "multiple protagonist" for some games).Is the tag not required if you don't make any choices as the other characters?

Before you read this, please understand that I'm not complaining, but merely curious. How is it that a single day uses 500+ renders? Is a new render used practically every dialogue line?

Hmm, that is weird. Well I just went through all the interactions with the Doc. I have saves at key points so it is always easy for me to go back and look. Never got that line with my patch installed. Maybe post your save here and someone more experienced than me can look at the code to see if something is wrong?

Ok, it took me a while, but it looks like the older save may have been set up as a friend instead of sister profile. Looks like the scripts didn't change after i added the patch. I ended up starting over from the start in order to get the patch to work right. So if anyone wants to use the patch to change the story from friend to sister in the middle of the story it probably wont work.
