Regular forum users are often blamed for being wrong, yet somehow the millions of people are expected to collectively operate like a perfectly coordinated hive mind; following every rule to the letter, like hundreds of drones controlled by a single operator. And apparently, that's considered a perfectly reasonable expectation.

- Should lawmakers be held at least partially responsible for high crime rates in their country, or is it purely the public's fault for engaging in criminal behavior?
- Can we argue that failing to impose sufficient punishment (or imposing no punishment at all) actually encourages criminal activity?
