You know I’m wondering if the unspecified reason they are delaying release has something to do with the discord modding script that just came out. Call me crazy but maybe with that becoming available they are trying to just add some of the same stuff in the script to the actual build since it looks like they are actively trying to avoid having a modding community rn.

or maybe they had problems of some kind...
They are "conservatives" yes, but opening the script part just to raid ideas would most likely backfire.
Or... they finally decided to open the import code... let's be positive (but keep the steel panties at hand)

Well, the hotfix is included in the latest version. Besides that, there isnt any difference. Maybe you can see what the specific version updated or what are the general opinions about a certain update?

There aren't any true mods to upload. The "mods" folder just contains the official characters and maps, which are released separately for logistics reasons. Real modding is currently not possible. Best you can do is the expanded freemode script someone posted around here somewhere, and installing that is very easy - just plop it in the Captures folder.
All you have to do, is you download the main game from the OP, and you download the "mods" folder from the OP. Then you take the Mods folder from inside that .rar, and place it in the main game folder (alongside TrueFacials.exe). Simple as.
