Any development can get bored! especially if you are tightly engaged in only one game.Sometimes you just need a break to start working with renewed vigor. The patron system, of course, forces you to be more responsible to your donators and creates a nervous stress - you constantly need to report on the results and maintain feedback. And wow the effect is more difficult to create over time. Let's wait and hope for the best
On one hand, it's bad practice to not notify people who patron you when developments that knock expected dates back happen. However, it's not at all a bad thing to have such delays - perfectly normal part of the workflow, especially given the lax specifications of a project of this nature.
On the other hand, it's bad to whine and moan about release dates, period(barring exceptions like big industrial projects, things where millions have been put in or when you've expressly paid for something to be done by a set date). But to ask people from the internet to not throw a fit over delays, be they minor or major, is like trying to stop the rain from reaching the earth with your hands.
All that being said, I agree with your patience and request for others to be patient. Yeah, I got nothing else, just felt like saying it.
