Are the rest of the characters like patreon only or something? The various changelogs states there is Geralt, Marie Rose, Y'sholta, etc for a total of 50 but the character mod zip only has 9 models in it.

hey bro, you need the main game files and the 'mods' folder from the main post here, those mods are the extra character made by the devs.. there are other mods made by other users, i think rev10 made most of them and i see other edits in the server from other guys, like tats and stuff, BUT those are 'true' mods in a way of saying it,, like made by people who are not game devs and the mods folder here are all of the TF characters made by the devs.. THEY should have named that something else,, but its that way.... hope u understand what i said XD

All the characters shown im my old post #7080 are in the game + Android 18, 2nd Elizabeth, Gemma, Susan Storm, Miss Fortune, Panam, 2nd Raven, Samus, 2nd Mercy. (~70 characters)

Below the downloads of #1 there is a linked premmoded version shared by Purple Heart,(post #7114) ; safe your self the time and give him a heart.

Most of the characters are in the "Mods" download. The "Character Mods" download only contains a set of characters that were released/updated in June without a corresponding update to the functional parts of the game.

I still don't know why the people writing the OP refuse to add an explanation of what's actually in the mods downloads. Calling them "mods" is just a dodge by the dev for copyright takedowns, they are official content and the game isn't really complete without them. It would be absolutely fine for the post here to explain what they really are and that you need to download them, and the number of people who miss them shows that such an explanation is genuinely needed.

and by that they mean an excuse to do even less for 3 months due to "unexpected difficulties during importing"

I have a question about the old version (0.42b), maybe someone know:

1. Are there any other characters (for example, community-released ones) besides those already in the old version (developer-released ones).
2. Is it possible to transfer characters from the new version to the old on

I (somewhat) undestand what you mean.. but since I trashed it.. it's gone.
As for your questions:

1. There are no additional characters the way you ment, for the simple reason that the dev never released (afaik) the encription code for the Unity packages, so it's impossible to fully extract or inject new stuff.
The mods you see posted are retextures (evidently possible to a certain degree) and bone manipulations (which can also be done in realtime if you install UnityExplorer).

2. The new version have a different skeleton structure to apply phisics, so just as transferring the old to the new is a no-go, taking the new to old will be a 99.99% crash and 0.01% useless since the game won't read the additional bones and physics.

Sorry Pal, we are stuck with what we have and hope for the best.

PS: Henry once said that he will release an import utility when the game is finished... keep the secret for your grandson

Honestly, I was already thinking about experimenting with open-source character models and trying to integrate them into the ecosystem of the old version of the game using Unity and Blender...
Apparently, it wasn't meant to be...

If there was an importing method or a face/body morphing suite a la TK17 this would be easily the most famous game in F95.

There was probably some kind of promise from the game's creator that updates would be released on a monthly basis...
But this is not the first time that it should be clear to everyone that a monthly update is out of the question. However, I personally hope that this time is necessary for a reason. It is possible that the developer's knowledge and skills are not fully developed.
I also believe that people who are waiting for an update are waiting for the game itself. Not for the promise of a monthly update. If the game was garbage, no one would wait for updates, even if they were released every day.

lightning what ? that has nothing to do with what i'm talking about. can't you not understand how annoying it is that you have to scroll down a lot multiple times to choose scenes that are far below ??? the scene selection should be like in a box or something like that. not just long vertical like it currently is
