Is this with a good GPU? Say I have a 5080, would I have trouble? I'm trying to understand if the optimization is so bad even 5070ti or 5080 cannot handle it

a 1070 works "ok" with either VAM or TF, so a 5070ti should have no problems with ither

But in those expensive scenes, would a 5080 also suffer 30 FPS? I mean, the 1070 is a pretty old card. In 2025, the minimum should be the 30xx series or the 2070+ at least.

Don't worry, I just like to skrew on people who keep comparing a motorhome with a utility car... there is no better, they are just made for different purposes!
If you want make a trial w/o filling up your HD for nothing, try first one of those game here using Lumen, all maxed out and see what happens, I'd say anything above a 3070ti should handle them, but the problem is the cpu with more than 2 chars due to the Hi-poly count.

The RTX 5080 can handle the game without any problems, but you also need at least 32 gigabytes of RAM (ideally 64) and an i7 12700K processor. And of course, the installation is only on SSD. This is for maximum settings and a minimum of 30 FPS in all scenes.
Anyone got any idea why unity asset extractor fails to open the modded and unmodded characters? I wanted to change some skin textures...

Rev_10 and HearthGranade are the ones to go when it comes to modding. look for their tutorials in this thread (DO NOT BOTHER ANY OF THEM WITH PRIVATE/DIRECT MESSAGES)

for non-vr folks that detest the idea of this game having VR, you dont need an expensive headset. just a phone with a built in accelerometer, gyroscope, compass (check using GMS Arena or VR Compatibility Checker) and one of those cheap vr phone holder thingies.

Honestly? VR support is cool, but there are more important things that should be done before. I'm sure it will eventually be implemented. But revising physics and collision is much more important for example.
