Yeah my Bitdefender got a hit, but it proceeded to sterilize the file it claims, and further deep checking has not revealed a virus in my system.
The game is very good, I admit it has some of the best custom sex customization around.
REGARDLESS if this is a false positive or not, being aware its a heavier risk than normal is a good thing to know
I feel that clowning on people that speak up about it is silly.
With that being said if your gonna take the dive here is what I suggest
1: From my own testing the primary exe file is the one under direct suspicion, delete it and run the games "bin.exe" it does not seems to be infested with the same evil magic that the "truefacials.exe" has ( take this with a grain of salt mind you).
2: run it in sandbox mode, this is of course a no brainer for the more tech literate but it remains a good option.
3: Edited to maintain rules of the site.
4: run your own antivirus over it, however it seems to be reported to be sneaky AND my bitdefender only picked it up when i ran the primary exe so something is up with that if its not false.
I lack the tech capability to dissect a program to see if something is hostile inside it, but if we could have a technomancer whom does know what they are doing and finally put the big question to rest then we can either sterilize the issue to make it safe like most games on this site, or put it to bed knowing we are ok.
