Believe it or not, Henry, in all his infinite wisdom, deliberately avoids adding any direct control widgets or gizmos. For some reason, he's convinced they're a bad idea, and he's incredibly stubborn about it.

The refusal to implement creampies properly, or single hole multi penetration, are also a big bummer IMO... or control to keep any hole open aside from the mouth. Those are what I'd like to really see...

And FSR4/DLSS4, for you know, way better performance since you can turn the internal res way down with those, and it'll still look fine. I'm guessing the engine is an issue and his implementation of FSR (looks like 2, but it says 3, so I'm guessing it's 3.0 not 3.1) is bespoke. If it was 3.1 instead of 3.0 we could manually change it to something else ourselves, but as it stands Optiscaler can't detect it at all.

It would have been great if I could have just swapped any standard upscaler in it to FSR4 with Opti, like I'm doing in literally everything else, but it seems it doesn't have a single upscaler to do that with.

Than you might have 2 choiches in my view:

- if you're normally comfy with fps > 50 disable the inbuilt fsr (set it to native, not TAA), than use L.S. framegen and maybe try LS FSR.

- if you're struggling with fps, start the game with UnitySettings at 720p (or 1080p if you have a qhd monitor) and disable the inbuilt FSR, you'll get same visual (except the UI) and better performance, than put LS on it if you will.

Just make some tries, but remember that this game is Cpu bottlenecked, so forcing a higher resolution with UnitySettings actually balances the game better.

That's what I've been doing, I just didn't know that its native setting isn't running FSR at 100% res for supersampling & is just running it without FSR.

If I'm not wrong, AMD has an equivalent of Dsr (VirtualSuperResolution i think), if you have it activated in your GPU driver than you can play in 4k or WQHD via UnitySettings with a minimal to none loss in performance ...assuming they work in the same way.
If you go 4k even the inbuilt FSR has decent graphic output.
The trick is finding the sweetspot of Cpu usage that is >20% in intel and (I guess.. due to core count) 30% in Amd with 100% Gpu usage.
That way you'll have room for playing multiple characters and/or use L.S. getting the best out of your GPU.
{or like I do... set Vsync "on" and enjoy the best output with 50% resources }

Hi, the full character roster is being ported to 0.56, 2 or 3 each update. I think we miss 1 or 2..
If you try the old chars in the new version they won't work, so even skin mods must be ported in the new models.

It does, but I don't want to deal with that crap, there was some major caveat to it that I don't remember, and I mostly want to use properly functional FSR that doesn't look like shit to gain performance. That's why FSR4 would be so good, at 25% resolution in performance mode it still looks fine at 4K since that's upscaling from 1080p with an algorithm better than DLSS3.5. It looks better in performance mode than FSR3.1 looks at any setting other than 100% res/super sampling mode.

The reason I use native res is to avoid what dogshit this broken version of FSR3 is, even at the highest setting below native it looks like a broken sloppy mess. And I should note that FSR3.0 is the same thing as all the previous crap in terms of image quality, it just added frame gen support, 3.1 was the first one to improve the image since 2.2 or something. 3.1 is also the first modular/easily upgradeable one.

Than I'm afraid the only way is maxing out everything you can, basically just disable FSR, and make L.S. framegen work.
On my side setting the ingame framerate to 33/35 fps and use 3 or 4x framegen with no upscaler works flawlessly, hope it's the same 4 you.

Hi, quite a long time anybody call me that LOL.

Here:

You must be registered to see the links

- download the .exe, place it in the game folder and just use it instead of the TrueFacials.exe

it will give you the option to choose the graphic quality and the resolution.
If you try different settings, remember that when you set a resolution via UnitySetting the game will keep it even if you use the normal TrueFacials.exe
