OK.. now is my turn to get stuck on black screen.
Also tried to delete the dll.. nothing happens.
I'm downloading from the other source to see if something happens..

Usually, black screen happens when an unsupported character, map, scene, etcetera gets loaded. Check your character folder and make sure theyre up to date and make sure to have these characters up to 0.53:

I think optimization still needs lots of work.
Neither cpu or gpu are fully utilized but I can atleast reach ~50 fps with 2 characters on screen. Previously it would go anywhere between 20 to 40 fps.
But still, 50 fps is not good enough for what is on screen.

Again, i tried doing what you did, and my game didnt crash. Please, tell me what other things you did: position, loading a scene, etc, so i can recreate it and post it un #bugs

No, it's something else, I also tried to make another copy of 0.52a and overwrite only the different files...
for a glimpse I got it working when overwriting the bin files, but than I did the same with the scripts and went black again...
The ludicrous thing is that all the characters work on 0.52 (not the map) even if the new Tifa looks like shit..
I might be stuck there for the moment..

i just tried to record a video of it crashing, pulled out OBS, set it to record
played for 30 mins or so, did a bunch of things, didn't crash once...

Controlling the lights is a great option to have.
However, the lighting on the skin -in this case on Jill- is weird.

No, she will return in a future update. Ed: to clarify, characters that were in 0.4b and are not in 0.5x are going to be added in future updates. The graphical change between 04. and 0.5 was big enough that "old" models have to be converted to the new "format" (is more cmplex than that but that explanation should suffice for now)

yes, FSR helps a lot! the update notes mentioned that the game code was updated about 50% and 2 characters should run better. I can confirm taht 2 characters give a smooth gameplay; 4 and more not so much

Finally got it to work!

I don't exactly know how or why, but if anybody has a black screen issue even at the second restart, let me know.
I'll try to guide you trough what I did

Did you delete the lib_burst_generated.dll from the plugin folder?

no, it doesn't work. the plugins are ok.
the problem sits between the scripts folder and the main game dlls.
I'll try tomorrow further options.. so far I got an upgraded 0.52.
I don't think the new fancy stuff is working, but at least I got all the chars and scenes going

Youre not the first person to ask and this might be the hardest thing to do in game:

1-use your right mouse button near the character´s shoulders to rotate the character horizontaly
2- look at this video for more clarity
