I respect that and I'm not suggesting that the developer should add NTR content. I was just agreeing with the commenter about the double standard when it comes to marital infidelity.

It's not the double standard about marital infidelity.
It's the double standard about sexual activity in general. Women who have lots of sex are disgusting, defiled sluts. Men who have lots of sex are total hero studs. That's fucked up thinking, like the Taliban or something.

I do get the feeling she takes those risks because she knows things about her sister that the MC himself doesn't, but yeah, the railroading can get really forced and tiresome.

there's no double standard about marital infidelity. men who cheat on their wives are (and should be) considered disloyal assholes by 90% of other men in western, developed nations. yes, there's that small portion of men who celebrate it, but there's an equally-sized portion of women who celebrate when women cheat due to "empowerment" or whatever bullshit. both are terrible, devotion to your family is the highest virtue in a relationship, but the fact that a small portion of the population supports infidelity doesn't mean that's the norm.
i've talked to a lot of people, both male and female, from all sides of the political spectrum. literally no one i've ever talked to has felt that way. leftists either celebrate having tons of sex no matter who you are, or they celebrate it in women but in men view it as proof you're a predator. conservatives, on the other hand, think the purpose of dating is to find a spouse and start a family, not to play the field, so they view promiscuity negatively regardless of who you are; they look down on men who have casual sex, or who've had more than a few relationships, just as much as they look down on women doing the same.
both of you are forgetting that this is a porn game forum, not real life. the primary virtue here in non-NTR games is loyalty to the main character, so getting cheated on is what's evil, regardless of who does it. in a non-NTR straight male protagonist game, that means women who cheat are bad. in a non-NTR straight female protagonist game, that means men who cheat are bad. in both cases, the protagonist is generally allowed to play the field because these games are power fantasies; these games should not be taken as genuine reflections of reality, because they aren't.

I guess your experience has been very different than mine. I believe slut shaming in our society is directed overwhelmingly at women, not men. Pretty much any woman will tell you about their own experiences with this if they feel comfortable speaking freely with you.
I do agree that power fantasy games do not reflect reality, and I enjoy playing them myself. Unfortunately, some people on here who play them 1) take them way too seriously and personally, 2) demand that developers follow very rigid rules that exactly fit their personal tastes, and 3) post a LOT about this subject.
With that said, I understand that this is a derail, and I will stop here.

I wish this had a mod that fixed the stepcrap and made Alice MC's daughter from a previous one-nighter and not his wife's. "Step-" should be the 8th word you can't say on TV.

This is so retarded it's unbelievable I would have ditched the wife because you can't deliver a baby without knowing it and keeping it a secret with someone you marry is something else than wanting a wife who never has sex. I also have children with my ex wife and I cannot imagine not talking about them with my new wife. Hiding that and than avoiding answering about it like this wife did is just unbelievability shady and also makes her a horrible person.

I'll be honest, I mostly skip most of the dialogue, but this latest update? Especially the part where Martha dishes out advice? I slowed down to read every line until the end. It's great. The writing has always been pretty great but it's better than ever. I'm really glad I followed this to this day. Keep it up dude.
