I'm a bit confused at this fantia side that Tsunbeji uses. So my understanding that each video 'product' has a sale/time limit. There was an option to buy a 'back number' or something which I assumed that I could get the particular video in question but I can't. I want to help support the developer and the fans here but... I dunno how to navigate this site, if it was a possibility at all to get videos that are 'out of season.'

There's this Marne one that I believe she's masturbating with a dildo but can't get to it...
Did you mean Marnie? If yes, this may be what you are looking for:

As for "How to navigate Fantia": No idea. I tried that site, PayPal wasn`t available as paying Option so I ignored it.

He sadly also doesn`t seem to have an alternative like Fanbox or Ci-EN

Off-Topic, but for the Future, should you not find something animated by a artist on R34, "Rule34 Video" and "Rule34 World" are also great places to find stuff:

And as always: Grab it while it`s up, you never know when something get`s DMCA`d

Here is a that explains broadly how Fantia works. If you ignore the bits about scripts, the explanations of membership tiers, products, and back numbers are applicable across all creators. There was another English guide that I used when I was setting up my account, but I sadly can't find it anymore.

Does anyone have this video? (but I can't download it over 3gb and I keep getting a failed download error many times)

Fantia sent a notification that they are going to be suspending payments from Visa/Mastercard for a while, because apparently getting foreign payment methods set up wasn't already difficult enough. To put it simply, I'm not going to bother trying to accommodate this, as it was already a pain getting everything working in the first place. I'll continue for as long as they'll allow it.

BlackCock (BlackRock) has doomed us all. Seems like the easiest way to continue paying is to use an AmEx or card

Thanks for all the effort you've put in to these uploads. Very much appreciated.

I've been seeing this sentiment quite a bit and it genuinely does suck for all involved. Have you tried reaching out to Tsunbeji at all seeing how you're (currently) a paying customer? A lot of artists seem quite receptive to feedback, maybe they'd be open to the idea of having an alternative like Fanbox available for international customers?

I haven't. As unlikely as it is, I suppose it could be worth a try. I'd have to MTL the message though.

Message sent, we'll see how it goes. This might be slightly skirting the Fantia TOS since it's indirectly supporting other websites.

Unfortunately, almost all Japanese R-18 websites are currently banned by visa and mastercard, and some of the sponsored websites are also banned by amex. Therefore, the most effective way at present, which can support almost all websites, is to pay directly with JCB. Other R-18 websites such as fanbox and ci-en have created their own payment platforms. You need to purchase points from the payment platform first and then use the points for sponsorship. You can also use platforms that are widely used in Japan such as bitcash to purchase points.

And tsunbeji himself may not be inclined to change platforms. For example, with fantia, you must purchase the current month's plan before you can purchase the previous single-month plan. With fanbox, after purchasing the current month's plan, you can get almost all previous plans. This would reduce tsunbeji's income.

I'm not asking him to shift his entire business over to Fanbox or something similar. I know Tsunbeji's way of doing things and he has been on Fantia for years with a lot of back numbers to potentially sell. A per month solution could be provided for active subscribers though in some capacity.

He could provide 30 day links/posts on Fanbox of the most recent content and proceed to delete it once the time limit is reached. Once the content is gone from Fanbox the only option would be to use Fantia. This gives him the option of keeping his Fantia back number sales while also allowing the gaijins to support and receive the new content without being fucked over by stupid overpriced points or coins. But this is all just wishful thinking.

I understand what you mean, but it's not very useful. Because you don’t know when fanbox will be banned by visa/mastercard. The vast majority of users of such websites are Japanese. They have JCB and are far less affected than non-Japanese users. All we can do is adapt to Japanese payment methods, and it is very difficult for artists to adapt to non-Japanese users.
