THZ for help.. How can I change it or do you have a new "settings.ini" for me to replace it?@You must be registered to see the links
The file you are looking for should be in the appdata. To use the search option just hit start key + R then search for appdata then click the *local* TwinStar_techDemo_0_7_1 settings.ini
I was in there earlier looking around and couldn't find the folder so I did a search for twinstar and found a shit ton of old crap going back to 02/03 build and the stuff was all over the place some in this area some here. So I deleted all that old crap as it's no longer needed.
just open it with a text editor (like Notepad) and change the resolution numbers....THZ for help.. How can I change it or do you have a new "settings.ini" for me to replace it?
sorry for that xD unfortunately GameMaker creates a different folder for each new iteration...I was in there earlier looking around and couldn't find the folder so I did a search for twinstar and found a shit ton of old crap going back to 02/03 build and the stuff was all over the place some in this area some here. have you tried other scenes too?Hey, I downloaded the public 0.7.1 release. I'm on Win 10 x64, extracted the game to C:\, install the stuff in redist/ and ran the game as admin. Every time I go to click on "Pole" and try to load the Candice stripping scene as Mike, I get the following:
___________________________________________
############################################################################################
ERROR in
action number 1
of Draw Event
for object obj_sceneMaster:
Trying to draw non-existing sprite.
at gml_Script_scene_draw_displayText
############################################################################################

stack frame is
gml_Script_scene_draw_displayText (line -1)
gml_Object_obj_sceneMaster_Draw_0
Any ideas?
The only other scenes I've encountered so far are the sleeping and shower scenes, and they seem to work fine. So as far as I can tell it's only the stripper scene that gives that error. I tried it on both poles (though I guess it's the same scene either way), and it errors out when playing as both Mike and Lena.have you tried other scenes too?
or is it only the stripper scene that fails?
thanks for the report, I'll take a look at it, maybe I nuked something.....okerFace:The only other scenes I've encountered so far are the sleeping and shower scenes, and they seem to work fine. first things first.... thanks for your interest and that you like it so farI tried the game, but:
1) I click on tutorial, it says there is no tutorial yet. If any porn game needs a tutorial this is it!
2) Some kind of walkthrough would be very helpful
Overall, this game is very confusing!
I have no idea what to do, where to click, what to pursue or how to do any of the above.
Did I mention it needs a tutorial?
And I know it says "tech demo" but it also feels like a tech demo more than other tech demos. If that makes any sense at all.
Sorry, not trying to be negative, but I do really like the premise and the preview renders.
The point of a tech demo is to showcase gameplay mechanics.... so the obvious thing to do is to have a tutorial/manual highlighting what the player can do, so they can test it out.first things first.... thanks for your interest and that you like it so far
regarding your two points....
- this is a tech demo and not a game... :ForeverAlone:
it is a showcase of gameplay mechanics, has NO consecutive story elements or anything "to do" or to "pursue"- also if you had checked out the official sites you would have found the walkthrough....
okerFace:
PS: apparently nobody cared to update the post with the latest version....
