Honestly just a blind guess perhaps it’s because his crush on Catherine i believe first day of y school (the one he currently in) and she didn't like that so started bullying him because he said they marry or he agreed to marry her can't remember which then gets a crush on some else and some extra evidence is that Julia said can't remember the exact words but basically that she developed early beyond her years that kinda thing so she likely took the marriage idea seriously and felt betrayed. On I think day 2 where they get put into groups she clearly hates Catherine likely partly blames her but mainly blames Mc for betraying her. But I'm not 100% sure likely got some things wrong or it's more complex than that but we will find out in a month or two so not that long and we should get an answer. Feel free to correct or add anything as I'd like to know
That's basically my take on things, that I had for quite a while.
Mc and Vic as childhood friends spend a lot of time together, competing and playfighting often. Vic starts to adore mc more and more as he keeps beating her in their competitions and her respect for him grows larger larger. She mentally grows up faster than him and makes him promise to marry her in the future. She is more grown up and is IN LOVE with him so she takes it seriously. He is still mentally a child that can't really tell the difference between friendship and love so he doesn't take it seriously.
Much later they start their new school together, mc meets cathrine and falls for her. He sees Vic as his best friend so he tells her and she gets furious, because she sees it as a betrayal of their promise.
As mc grows up, he becomes more and more of a pervert, openly staring at all the girls. Vic sees that and it only serves to make her even angrier at him. At some point she starts to bully him, which starts a vicious cycle.
Vic's bullying makes mc feel weak -> he becomes more meek, becomes more of a loner and flees more and more into videogames and porn. -> Vic sees Mc's weaker self as a mockery of the person she fell in love with and who she looked up to -> Vic becomes even more angry -> Vic bullies mc even harder -> repeat.

That seems like it, though personally I wouldn't call a child taking another child talking about marrying her seriously a sign of maturity. Quite the opposite. "When we were six you promised to marry me and I'm going to hold you to that" is not grown-up behaviour.

bro is really trying to add fuel to the fire lmao:ROFLMAO:
nah, throwing fuel into the fire would be pointing out that he's currently getting cucked in RL by the several billion other males on the planet, and that his dad regularly cucked him by bumping uglies with his mother.

but hey, we're not evil to outright say something like that to someone who's already so blatantly fragile...

I feel like that’s all correct but I also think it’s a big part jealously because he used to only look at her even if for not in a loving or sexual way then he see Catherine falls in love/crushes on her then even looks at other girls. I feel like the part about him getting weaker not like he used to be is true but I think it’s more than that as I remember fairly well she said during there race something like “he is always like this suddenly he’s better than me again no this time you look up to me” I’m gonna guess she does want him to be strong but still wants to be stronger/looked up to but that’s likely what she thinks she wants at least in the corrpution route she very likely gonna be a sub and like it. But I'm playing through the game again for the next update to double check stuff and to see if I missed anything but I don't think we know enough to be sure of much yet unless it is as simple as we think which is fine if so complicated doesn't equal good after all (ps she also called Stephanie stinkystepi for seemingly no reason other than she friends with mc and she isn't anymore this was before she saw them hold hands and go home together so likely another case of jealousy.

I wouldn't be surprised if Leo's fake performance came to light and Mc needed to step in his shoes to please Melena in Leo's stead. That was my take from this whole interaction. Even if Leo got help from this potion/oinment he wouldn't be able to keep up the same lvl of satisfaction from her by his skill alone. Leo as Mc's best "friend" would have seen or heard certain things about mc to convince himself that there is no one better than him at pleasing women that he could ask for help and trust him. Either that or Leo will be defeated by her unsatible sex drive and will ask for help from his friend in taming the beast. Leo is in his youth. Has games and stories in his mind. Not girls and sex. So I wouldn't be surprised if he was interested but not that interested to choose her over games and other hobbies... etc. Either way. Leo might get cucked and be even alright with it. I mean.. Netorare is the opposite of Netori. Mc will do Netori, Leo will feel on his skin what Netorare means. Both are fetishes.
I luv how even the dev said that there will be only 12 heroines there will be some smooth brain to ask for more  . MC rejected Victoria's underlings who's better looking than Melena and they might have better personality than her too. MC doesn't need to bone every girl that exist plus let Leo have his own happy ending too:cautious:

On the bright side, we haven't had a post asking how to unlock that one scene in the gallery for a while.

Welcome to f95, all the posts here are cyclical.
"ntr avoidable?" "gallery unlocker" "dev is a milker"
"android version" and now... "Leo with Malena is ntr "
"update when?" "any news?" "compressed?" and I'm probably forgetting some

It isn't, but at this moment she already had a gist of what love is and what it means. As her first love interest, Mc. Had her hooked like a drug addict on heroin. The problem is that he didn't even notice it. Didn't have slightest idea that her bullying him might have anything in connection with love. Same as girls getting picked on by young guys that seek their attention and don't know how to get it normally. Especially so when her idea of love is still vague and has not formed properly into something mature. She has vague idea that she loves Mc. They had promise to marry each other. The idea is that they need to be together but she does not know how to do it. Mc hurts her badly by forgetting said promise and even admitted to love another girl. She feels betrayed and lost. Like most guys that love a girl and are in friendzone. She feels similar feeling. As if ground has shifted under her feet and her chest was empty and someone poked needles in her heart. Instead of trying to understand her feelings she lashes out at the person she deem responsible for it all. Mc.. instead of standing up to her and fighting back. He became a wimp that is easly bullied. Like almost all guys in same age group as girls are they are shorter and weaker than girls. So he became her punching bag. Her prince in shining armor became perverted recluse because of her jealousy and lack of emotional maturity. It all fits quite nicely into this story and is pretty propable to really happen. I feel for him because as a kid I was bullied by girls too. I doubt that it had anything in connection with love and interest in me but I can only guess at this point.
