I feel like I saw something like this at some other AVN, but I don't remember which one, and I feel like I didn't like it.

Suppose MC might be the one writing up the contract for when they go larger-scale so he could loophole it and stuff. He might just use some of the profits to invest as most regression stories make a huge amount of money that way.

So it's very obvious that MC's finances are going to keep them afloat after the mom gets fired. At least at first. No reason why the mom can't get another job, the important part is that they don't loose the house while she's looking.

You really think it's unrealistic that a child would get a share when his idea's catapult a small business into never before seen success, but you think it would be realistic if a child gets a faceless, giant corporation to keep his mother employed who's just one of likely thousands fairly inconsequential assistants at the company?

It seems to me like you just dislike the idea of mc becoming the breadwinner and are trying to make up arguments why it would be bad/unrealistic. Which is fine, everyone has their opinions, but it's very clearly and obviously signposted, so I think you'll be out of luck on this one.

Completely agreed, the son of Gao might seem like the kind of dude that would throw the MC out, but Gao seems like a man of honor.

Thing is business isn't a one-time thing. Neither gramps or his retarded nephew know how to do the networking and marketing stuff the MC will do and neither were bright enough to come up with the idea themselves.
They will need him going forward to keep making money and for his ideas technical savvy etc.
Also gramps seems like an honorable dude they no reason to kick him but even so it's likely the MC would enter into a legal contract with them to protect his interests.
The real concern is their business takes off and gramps has a heart attack enjoying his new wealth at some brothel and now nobody knows how to make the potions.
MC should work on learning that part of the business and convince the old man to teach a trusted apprentice before he flies off this mortal coil.

Fair point. It might technically pass the f95 rule for a harem, but it feels more like cheating if anything. Steph is just getting cucked by the mc at this point.

In fact I think emily isn't even ok with a harem, she's trying to steal him from her and she implied in her thoughts in telling him to tell Steph she could break them up.

I don't think any chick is ok with a harem in this game and the girls are possessive like normal woman, and the threesome with molly looked kind of unexpected but made sense that she didn't want to share her brother and was not mature enough to realize it. the only way to proceed is corruption and make her self esteem lowered, well it's a game so it's really not supposed to be realistic, and there is no way a 16 year can have that big penis, this game is full of loop wholes it's just there for the male service and entertainment, the only way to have a harem is being Muslim or being supper rich with dumb chicks.

Im a bit lazy to read through all the comments, but I can see that the dev is trying to write his story, that the girls will be formed, that they will eventually accept the mc's harem.
We saw how Stephanie (?) was hating the harem idea at the start, but the mc keeps talking about it and is giving her so much love, that she is slowly giving in, becoming more tolerant about the harem talk + she doesnt look like she will be able to live without the mc much anymore.
At least thats what I have been feeling while playing.

Jacky/Mom has been talking to about the harem thing during the foot massage scene and just needs a bit more convincing
Lil sister still looks quite reluctant about it, but younger ppl are quite easy so "manipulate" and "persuade". Especially by ppl you like/love
Big sister will be a challenge.

The first ones are always going to be the most challenging. Once he has two of them agree to both being his girlfriends and this is known to everyone, any future girls are going to be joining something that already exists, which is going to have less friction. Especially any girls that he wasn't seeing before this, so they don't even have him cheating on them earlier to complain about.

It's already easier. Everyone allready knows about stephanie being his girlfriend, so anyone engaging in sexual activities with him will already know that they won't be the only one. They might still be resistant, but less so than if they though that he was single.

Development update – Mother's Day

The additional ram actually does gods work. I haven't had any crashes since I put them in, even for the most demanding maps and with up to 5 characters present at the same time. Even more so, the rendering times also got lower. Now, I know that as a hs2 dev this might sound like complaining about nothing, but seeing how you can't queue up renders to do something else while your PC does the work the difference between a render taking 1 minute or half of a minute from pushing the button to finish is actually pretty relevant and be it only for quality of life.

In terms of progress I spend quite a bit of time recording the animations from last week and making even more animations this week. A few of those were actually a bit tricky, not because of any more complicated motions than usual but because of the nature of the scene. Doing animations for screens where dialog is happening always feels a bit weird to me but normally I just put moaning expressions on the girls faces and am done with it. This time there isn't any moaning though and still quite a lot of dialog. I think I manged somewhat but I'll probably have to see how the scene flows in renpy before I can properly judge it.

Now, telling you I completely caught up to where I should be in terms of progress probably wouldn't be quite honest, but I do think I got it somewhat back on track. The next few scenes are mostly for Viktoria with a bunch of still images, so I also should be able to get through these at a pretty good pace. Still, the update will have more animations than I had initially anticipated.

Anyway, its mothers day so here is a little render to accompany this dev update for a change. Remember not to love your mother too much though, that would be weird.
