I noticed this too. I'm guessing that BaiBai wrote a chunk of the story by just writing in "Ben" and then later did a Ctrl-F > Replace All function on every instance of "ben" with "[mcname]," and that line got caught in the crossfire on accident.

And that's why when doing a search and replace you should add a space after the word in one round and a comma after it in a second round, i.e 'ben ' and 'ben,'. 99% sure you're right so kudos to your deductive skills.

depending on how often they see and interact with each other later, they can certainly grow feelings for each other. The most important step was to make Melena aware of Leo.
One could also just make it happen by dialogue:
"Oh yea did you hear Leo and Melena were spotted in a cafe together?
Kyaaa no wayy, really?
Yes yes, no doubt."
Thats no problem whatsoever imo, just let poor Leo have some game, he already fell into that NTR hole once, haha

I mean, based on the text bit from when they are being dropped off to their homes, it seems like Melena might be bit more innocent than she lets on, at least to feelings and it seemed like she had developed some feelings towards Leo. Thanks to MC's help.

Being an actual bitch or acting like a bitch, there are differences and there are a lot of circumstances to consider:
You are pretty and get a lot of attention, you have had no parental love so you try to compensate, you got raised the way that you would always get what you wanted etc

Obviously all these guys are still very "young" (all 18 of course *wink*) and their characters are still developing. If Melena learns what its REALLY like to find someone for her life, she will definitely change from whatever route she was taken before meeting them.
I said definitely but it also depends on the mood of the writer, buuuut i believe in the good of people sooo... yes xd
