There is something called Patience. And now there are 3 options, sub to get it faster and to support the dev, wait for free release, or wait a leak, if that will even happen.

No, buy it. Support the dev and he might have more free time in the future to get updates more often.
I really dont get how the numbers on SS are so low. This is some really top tier content, even if we had to wait quite long.
While some other slop content, could support two people working full time, and its not coming out any faster.

- 1/4 of the render count
- 1/3 of the animation count
average person reads ~18-20K words per hour so it's between 5-6 hours of content from that perspective
I can only recommend it, its seldom a dev comes back after such a long time and actually keeps his promises of a lot content like that. Another game starting with twisted comes to mind and im still salty over its current status, big doubts it will have such a glorious return if he ever updates again. Also never paused billing.
Even if we have to wait longer because its a one man show I have full trust in BaiBai to deliver.

It is more than a little bit silly that so many of the same people griping about the game being abandoned as recently as a week ago (and bad-mouthing the dev) do such a hard 180 and immediately complain that they don't yet have a new update that just dropped for subscribers and will be leachable soon enough. I mean, jeez - last week they were complaining about there never being another update...but now that there is one rather than just being happy about it and looking forward to it being available to us pirates they somehow transition instantaneously to spoiled bitching about not having it (the hoped-for update they never thought they would get 2 days ago) instantaneously.
Some people are only happy complaining, I guess. Sigh.I for one am super happy that the game isn't dead, and waiting 2 weeks is nothing compared to waiting forever.

I am also curious what will happen to those people who only popped up when the Update was delayed to shittalk and never participated in the Thread before.
But in general, I will gladly wait 2 weeks, I waited for months so I dont mind if it takes 2 more weeks. Plus, the Update seems to be big, even better.

Would've said no before today and people saying it's a huge update. Now I'm not so sure.
Given the difficulties IRL for the dev, I'm now leaning toward wouldn't-be-at-all-surprised...Happy to see this update drop before the end of the year. Hope Bai Bai is doing well and has all the opportunities & energies to continue this into 2025
Several days are planned after this update already, The dev likes to pack a ingame day into one update, so there is still a lot coming, if the doesnt get too frustrated with it leaking day one. I really hope the dev sees some uptick in subs after all.Would've said no before today and people saying it's a huge update. Now I'm not so sure.

Most likely not. I did not play 0.9 yet, but we are really only at the beginning of the story. And the version number does not really mean that much, a higher number usually only means that there is more content and not anything else.
It is entirely possible (and I think likely) that after 0.9 we will see 0.10, 0.11 and so on.
