The thing I noticed is that the best games make updates in range of 1 every 3-4 even 6 months. As this game needs tons of renders for this story. So I can't complain. As it isn't open world repeat grind fest many games try to use to artifically prolong gameplay.

I think the time per Update is alright. It has more content per Update than other games with a faster Update Cycle. Also, lets not forget that for every event of the Main-LIs, two scenes need to be created.

As far as I'm aware there was never any talk about an update every month from the developer.
There was a talk about 2-month cycles, which would be great.
