Isnt most of the time of these games spent waiting on the renders? rpy code is easy enough, and the stories are either mostly silly or too talky.

you can try writing yourself. even if its silly, its still a bunch of work
im helping a dev with translations and thats already time consuming enough. now imagine you have to think about dialogues, scene play and everything yourself from scratch.
also the dialogues of TM are everything but simple and easy. if you paid attention, its a lot about having past regrets and trying to be a better person, while maintaining your endless libido lol

Except then the passive-aggro begging and whining starts because the WT Mod hasn't been auto-magically updated; the CTRL > Skip > Fap artists start bitching because their personal Pixel Tart didn't get enough images for their spank-bank; and then a few errant White Knight wannabe's will still rejoin with calendar vs content accusations of "Milking" = All of whom never contributed a dime towards the title, but still think they "support" it just the same . . .

You would be surprised that a lot of people enjoy the story or characters of some avns.
If you just want animated porn and don't give a shit about the story, why the hell would you play a game that takes hours to establish characters and relationships before any fucking happens. Just go on pornhub or rule34 or even just google and you'll find all the animated fucking you could want in less than a minute.
