I'm honestly not that interested in giving BaiBai the benefit of the doubt anymore. The update was months late, then he put it on hiatus, then he extended the hiatus, now he is making vague allusions to announcements and not putting up.

But I think most of us have seen this from other devs who just kinda drop out so I'm not holding my hopes up.

We will know more about BaiBai situation once November comes and weather this game will continue or not. I really want this game to succeed as a sub for BaiBai but there seems to be a lot of things going on with the dev right now.

Here's a screenshot. Bare in mind that BaiBai has only ever made announcements on the Sunday of the week and this was at the start of the week. The intent was clear.

Baibai succeeded in being barely vague enough to get people to give him benefit of the doubt he frankly doesn't deserve. Fact is, this was the last Sunday before his November 1st deadline and he is going to miss it without a word.

If I am wrong I will take it on the chin, but I don't think I am for a second. Baibai does not deserve the benefit of the doubt that nice people like you give him.

The subscribestar is paused and even when it wasn't it wasn't making anywhere near enough money to make a living. This game is a thing he is doing in his free time. He has no obligation to continue.
I get being impatient and looking forward towards the update, but your sense of entitlement in insane. You're making up promises on the devs behalf so you can get mad at it getting broken. I thought I had seen it all in terms of entitlement on this forum, but this truly takes the cake.

There is no difference in being a supporter from day one or supporting for a single month, your feelings of what you deserve are just that.... your feelings about what you think you deserve. What if you subbed a month later and had only been 3 months at this point instead of 4 would you not be posting? SS is obviously not catering to you or any other single user?? I dont even know how to reply to that idea its so utterly wrong.

Expecting vindication really just paints you as someone who truly does think the world revolves around them: "ofc its time to say dead milker scam game ive paid for an arbitrary amount of time!, ofc a platform to support artists is the exact same as amazon!, ofc people will agree with me!, ofc these people who are wrong to disagree with me just need to be convinced!"

sorry chief but this aint it and fwiw i like the game obviously, but if baibai paused dev of the game (inclduing payments LIKE HE HAS) until november 2025 it wont be the end of the world

I think they meant the actual, personal reason why BaiBai is taking a break.

I think it's unfair to think the dev purposefully delayed this release. Why is it so hard for people to give him the benefit of the doubt? It's not impossible he did have things to do in his life that took time away from the game and he just needs to handle that before continuing his porn game side quest
