No issues here, clean install and tested without mod and with mod as well... game launches ok everytime.

0.9 is not a decimal number. the number the follows that version is generally 0.10, not 1.0
Man the extremely lengthy narration is hard to handle after a while. Imagine if movies had every word written in a book be spoken. Movies would be days long but most of what is written in books is shown instead.

The visual medium takes place of a lot of what books would have to write out. This is doing both to it's detriment.

The writing is what makes this title so great. I think it's artfully done, and so do many others in this thread.
And this ain't a book, but a visual novel. It's not a movie either. Making those comparisons doesn't really help, but even some books are very lengthy and others much shorter. Same for movies. You can't pick up LOTR expecting to read The Little Prince. Or watch Once Upon a Time in America and expect Pulp Fiction...

The seduction path that BaiBai develop is too wholesome. It really suppress the tone of corruption path. In seduction path, MC did really grow to become a better person. In corruption path, MC is just a awful person and becoming a evil bastard.
In this update for Victoria, the seduction path definitely win the wholesome prize, it makes corruption path become unbearable.
To me, this long-waited update is wonderful.

I'm on a "Mostly Seduction" path because some of the corruption choices are too good to pass up...
I must say this game has top tier renders. I hope the mom gets a lot more content.

At first I thought the corruption path was fine, the MC just felt bolder. Since the Catharine blackmail though, he's really been earning that "bastard" description. Not something I enjoy playing anymore.
But I'm glad seduction got more love this update. The Alyvia scenes were hot as hell.

Standard = let's say more normal download size
HQ (High Quality) = a massive 25 Gb + download.
In terms of content they are identical as far I know.
