I dont care much for this either where every girl is super accepting of a Harem, but in Stephi's case her design is pretty much akin to that, super perverted, fantasy driven, really degen. Even makes comments about it. Granted I dont think the girls should just fall in line and be like "whatever you want you stud, im just here for that incredo-cock" but the stuff with Stephi is like everytime MC does something without involving her, she gets super pressed about it. "let me constantly tease you about catherine/other girls... but im gonna constantly whine about it too" it's double edged. It's just constant shit testing MC. Man couldn't even enter a store without her barging in and making all sorts of assumptions.

Game is harem tagged so its expected to fall in line with some stereotypes of how the MC gets them to accept and granted I'd prefer they are a bit possessive and not immediately open to it either but idk. I also wouldn't have minded a little flexibility for the girls too. I like Viktoria, for example but by the time you even start things off with viki you're locked with stephi, emi, fooling with mya, opening up catherine and also pushing Alyvia. Just so much going on with no control over it :FacePalm: MC definitely takes on way too much at a single time and it kinda hurts the story too.

Nah steph is way too insecure and in love to pull that nonsense. She is probably going to aim for that mistress position that keeps the other girls in line when mc is not there.

The goal of the mc in this game is certainly to have an open and honest harem. There is some cheating though in the progress of trying to get there.
One of the very good things this game does is that the characters are pretty realistic, they don't just roll over and so everything mc asks of them just because they love him. So getting them to agree to a harem is actually something that takes time and effort.

So far mc has one official girlfriend that all the other girls know about, but she hasn't agreed to sharing.
2 girls have agreed to sharing and know of each other and the girlfriend. They have also demanded that mc is honest with his girlfriend by the end of next week.
1 girl he has had already had sex with and tried to get her to agree to harem, but she's not convinced yet and currently trying to steal mc from the girlfriend.
1 girl he has done sexual stuff with but she wants to keep it to sex and doesn't want to sabotage his relationship with his girlfriend.

She's not dominant and she's not a gold digger. She was ecstatic that mc bought her a cheap bikini, what are you talking about?
Stephanie has a very low self esteem thanks to getting bullied (Stinky stephi). She also has abandonment issues due to her history with her mom.
Now that she has a boyfriend who she loves, she's afraid to loose him, so she clings unto him tighly. Especially since that boyfriend makes no secret about being interested in other girls.
She's a bit much sometime, but I don't think it's fair to entirely blame it on her. Mc is pretty insufferable as well, pestering her about not using any contraceptives, talking about harem and other girls, demanding that she learn to cook.
I get the feeling she will mellow out quite a bit once she is sure that mc will never leave her. And I don't think that's very far away either, when we consider what happens at the beach in seduction route.

Steph is constantly slamming her foot down all the time, a dominant trait is possessiveness, regardless how you interpret that is on you. She needs to be included in everything, she constantly pushes back on MC, gets jealous about things incredibly easily, dictates how things are going to go, shit tests, etc. These are all Dominant traits. A woman wouldn't be very submissive if she was constantly jealous, constantly pushing back on everything you say and constantly feeling the need to be involved in everything you do.

As for the gold digger thing, she references she doesnt want to do household things, and she doesn't care to work either. The MC says "I cant spend alot on your bikini" He had $70.00 in total. "Cheap" isn't a bikini that costs $50.00 out of $70.00 lol. She even presses to spend the most amount of money possible, she wasn't humble about receiving the gift, she was grateful after he agreed to buy it sure, but she also had an heir of "deserving" it leading up to that point. Common qualities attributed with gold diggers lol.

Hope that helps you understand why I said what I said. Sure the MC isn't the greatest person, and has a lot of faults too, but Stephi's original portrayal to who she was in the later half was completely 180'd just about. Outside her degenerate behavior anyway. Even gets mad over that at times too lol. It just didn't fit with how she was seeming to be originally portrayed. I'm not saying she is a gold digger i said she's playing into the gold digger stereotypes. (ie: she wants to be spoiled and doesnt care about spending. Not that she's just with MC to steal his money and dip. Woulda used sugar baby, but MC is only old in brain not actual current 'age' lol.)

If you consider pushing back on 'you shouldn't use any contraceptives with me ever' and 'You should let me fuck other girls', 'controlling' and 'dominant' behaviour, then I guess this game might just not be for you. There's plenty of other games where the girls are immediatly submissive and subservient to mcs every whim. Play one of those.
I for one am enjoying the fact that the LIs have more to their characters then doing everything mc wants them to. Its pretty clear that stephanie is slowly becoming more in tune and open with what mc wants and when it happens it will be much more satisfying than if she just was that way from the word go. And I enjoy that harem building is for once treated like an actual project, that takes time, effort and persistence to pull off. As opposed to so many games where it just goes from serial cheating to harem in the blink of an eye without any rhyme or reason.

It's also not an 180 change at all. Once stephanie develops an interest in mc she went from downplaying Catherine and aidens relationship to talking it up to make breaking them up seem impossible. This happens on the very first ingame day. She has been growing more jealous the more she cared and grew to love the mc. It wasn't an 180, it was gradual and was noticable from the very first ingame day.

I see, that all sounds good, but, nothing against this game or anything, but this kind of situation kind of reminds of other games where the entire time it's just build up to the harem and then the game just ends when the harem forms. Naturally, I get having to take time to convince the girls and giving them honest and realistic reactions about being in a harem, and I do like it when games go out of their way for the harem to take time and effort to actually form since many other games don't do that. But I don't know, for me, I just don't like it when Mc gets a girlfriend but doesn't tell her anything about the other girls he doing behind their back. And I can only take so much hours and hours of jealousy and drama to the point where even when the harem forms it just wouldn't really feel satisfying. Nothing against this game or anything, but to me it's just isn't enjoyable to read through.

It's pretty clear that the girlfriend will find out in the next couple updates and an 'official' harem will form, imo. It's probably not going to be super transparent at the start. Not everyone will know that mc has a harem. But it's gonna be there.
The first threesome isn't far of. 0.12 I think it's supposed to be. And since there's only 2 girls the mc has had actual sex with and one of them is his girlfriend, I wouldn't be surprised if that's when the harem starts. baibai also said he's planning threesomes with each mother daughter pair, so it's safe to say the game won't end after the harem forming.

Honestly to me these are all girlfriend traits. Some girls might have been convinced not to be like that, but this is the average gf experience with better-than-average-looking girls.
