To be honest, it's far passed the point where the dev is writing too much and taking too long to translate it. I like the writing in the game too, but the branching paths have added exponentially more to the script as time has gone on, bloating the writing process more and more. Once everything is done the update is then left sitting around while the dev takes an equally egregious time to then translate the whole script into English. I really want to give the dev the benefit of the doubt that he's not just milking his supporters, but something really needs to change. Updates for this game have gone from every few months to twice a year if we're lucky, and the scope of the game has not changed at all. There's no gameplay, there's no special mechanics, it's just a pure visual novel with far too much time being spent on the script. I really don't want this game to die. It looks so much better than other HS2 games, which is to me where it really shines, idk how this dev does so much more with literally the same models. But with updates just taking longer and longer along with the dev having bouts of sudden disappearance or panic, I'm losing a lot of faith in the whole project.
If only there were thousands of other games to play while waiting.

Theres a bit of both, porn games and mainstream games, I do agree that it would me nice for Baibai to let his money paying supporters know why he seems reluctant to not using any tool or assistance from another person in what it seems the most time consuming part of the process so this dammbable discussion can end, but since i'm not one of those yet so all I can say is that he can take all the time he needs because I have other things going on besides TM.
I'm going to be that guy and remind people that the guy has a full-time job IRL and people need to temper expectations. He isn't being some random using the support as their only income who have no excuses for delays.
He's paused payments in the past when he didn't have time to work on the game for months. The amount of devs with the amount of backing he has gotten who've done that is able to be counted on one hand that is missing at least a finger or two. That's why I don't find myself inclined to think he's intentionally stalling.
However. If there's any real delays with the excuse of "translations" though, I'm probably going to reconsider as there's a few other games I've been thinking about dropping a couple subs on. My patreon/SS/fanbox subs are all a budgeted in on what I blow on coomer shit every month so if I drop TW someone else is getting it. I'm probably going to just blow $20 on steam trading cards if I do instead though.

So do we expect a release any Sunday this month? The dev said that it is the last monthly showcase for this update.

Look at the number of renders from the first updates and the number of the last three releases, and your brain should come to a conclusion. The same models? No, they've been changed once or twice. I hope you support him on SS to be so worried?
