Honestly, I couldn't tell you it was so under-developed and underutilized in the Original game, for some characters it may be just additive but for the more Social media obsessed or famous characters it may play a role in starting or maintaining a relationship

I don't have any specific memory of any social media in game before the remake, beyond being a plot device for Jaiden's story line. I just hope that if an instagram-ish app is added to the actual gameplay that it'd be treated like a mini game, and given a skip/auto-pilot option that lets us see any associated images and dialog, while setting the right variables to move any story lines forward without having to navigate an app.

So based on the dev log it looks like a good amount of effort has gone into the in game social media. But I have to ask, is using it optional, as in will not using it knock you off an LI's path? Social media in AVNs is usually pretty annoying.

Social media wont affect your love points; only your actions during events/dates will.

Made some great advances with the phone apps! Now unlike the classic version Slurpstagram is fully functional, I have also completely improved the handling of existing applications making it much more fluid and easy to understand(and easier for me to handle too, at the moment of adding new content❤)

New stuff added

• The Questlog/Guide, now is not separated or divided by pages, it is only one page that will show all the characters playthrough guide, you can roll up and down this page with the mousewheel, in case of the android version it can be draggable with your finger. I made sure to add a really clear mugshot picture besides the guide info so you can identify which character it is, Also including that notification status will always pop up everytime you get a new event.
• Slurpstagram, it can now accept animated post/feed, I added a lot of stuff there, so at the moment you get your phone it will have content already plus that more post/feed will keep appearing during your playthrough, you will also get a notification from this every time a new post appear.
• HornyHub, The same as Slurpstagram, I can now add animated stuff here too, this app will be a mix of Twitter, Pornhub and OnlyFans inside TwistedWorld, so here you will only find kinky, sexual posts, it will also have content once you get your phone and it will appear more during your playthrough.
• EDIT, the SlurpyBank is fully working, but you will need to make a ban account first in the Slurpy Bank map, which will appear once the World Map is available.
• Also I decided to make all the phone app menus in dark mode, I think people will like them more this way.

Working on:

• Checking up grammar
• Mauro, Leo and Nicko reunion
• The messages app conversations code
• Placing and coding all the sprites that I exported
• Looking and fixing broken sex animations loops.
• DQ Webtoon comic

EDIT: The social media apps will also be a great feature to reupload all the stuff I upload on Twitter/SS, Including all the fan made stuff

I really hope it will be released this month or did he specify it when it will be updated?

So just played through both versions. I have to say I enjoyed the first one more so far mostly because it was a more complete game and felt a bit more streamlined. The remake needs to chill on the whip sound effects I played the remake first and was dreading playing the original because I thought it would be filled with those. The remake also feels drawn out, like I enjoy a sex scene like most people here but after the second time someone cums I feel the scene should end. Please don't have them continue like 10 times for no reason.

I did enjoy the new futa scenes in the remake though. I only played these games for the futa/femboy content and am looking forwards to a more finished remake I guess.

The animation job is massive, the text is written correctly, those 2 arguments alone outclass 90% of the game hosted.

As if any early access game grant 10Hours of gameplay every update.

There is, the main issue is that your expect 8Hours of F(un) on a "free" game and dare asking for more without giving a penny back.

People complaining means they care about the game. The opposite of love is indifference. I can appreciate the new look of most of the new models and the updated atmosphere. That said, can you imagine if games like Nikke, or some other mobile gacha game kept showing off sneak peeks of new characters and never made them playable? Players would be justifiably upset. Teasers/trailers/previews are neat, but some folks want substance. Personally, I think it's awesome that snats has made a catalogue of 100+ unique looking models. However, it does seem like a waste of time to some people, when they see development time between updates going up and playable content is lessened. Now, this might be not be the case, but the perception is longer update, for reworked/remade content and there is less than the previous version of the game.

As for me, I check back here periodically, because I like the game and I thought the premise was interesting and I am hopeful that when all the pieces are in place it could be one of the best games on this site.

For me personally I am someone who is on the fence though it's not entirely Snats fault. He took a year off where he said he would be working on the remake and putting his efforts into it, 12 months, little to no information beyond showcasing models and backgrounds. So after a year to only have a game with 25 minutes of content and already feels like it's being delayed is a kick in the teeth. Now why I say it's not entirely Snats fault is during that year the few who are devoted to him and his game, who had 100% faith, would always say the same thing whenever someone asked about the remake and lack of updates, he's working on assets and the 'hard' stuff first so that when he does start to release the game it will be far quicker updates, ensuring us that it would be even faster then his previous schedule since the 'big' stuff would be done with, even keeping going with that statement around Christmas time when he finally announced the first release and the lackluster feeling of waiting a year with not a lot of content. He said he would release the full prologue after Christmas, he didn't due to delay by family, understandable, he said he would work on and release the full prologue the next month, but only ended up releasing half the prologue and no date of then the second half will be released. Now I'm patient and usually have no problems with waiting but after 12 months, a 25 minute half release, then one update post in 3-4 months, even I'm at my limit.
